I couldn't agree more. Quick question, I just noticed Mikeyo918’s 30 Team Control Sponsership Method and Approach, what should I do if I don't have all the sponsorships listed, for example I don't have Diamond $25k Win, and its expensive to buy, I don't really have any stubs, can I substitute a Gold $20K
Win that I do have ?

Keep building those stubs and you will be able to buy it on the market eventually. In the meantime yes use the best gold at 20K per game if you can in it’s place.

You can do whatever you want (as long as you have the cards for the sponsors). What is on the OP is a sponsor system based on the market of the team.

What Armor said is 100% the way, another option, I despise DD (for obvious reasons) so whatever cards I collect from there (you can accumulate a lot of packs by playing franchise games, every 10 days for playing MLBTS, etc) I just sell and flip them for sponsorships. Easiest/quickest way to get them.

Im just having a blast with my rangers franchise we are 14-14 and just scored 16 and 6 runs in our last 2 games!! figured out my lineup and im on fire at the plate... my bullpen its very inconsistent, but im having so much fun in mlb the show 20!

Anyone have any understanding or grip on coaches and how they affect player ratings in game?

I’ve spent the last few hours trying to hire and fire coaches that will just let my players ratings stay as they are before entering a game. I have found that even if you hire all “A” coaches with positive ratings boosts (when you get into an actual game) players ratings will be super out of whack, both ratings increases and decreases.

Pitcher’s with 4/5 points subtracted from stamina and velo or control, hitters vision suddenly skyrockets 3 or 4 points, etc.

For example, I had 2 coaches that had a ratings boost for speed. Coach #1 had a -2 speed in his list and Coach #2 had +2 speed. So you’d think that once you get into a game, all players’ speed ratings would just stay as they originally are, but no....all players have -3 speed from what their ratings are in the main menu, and no other coaches had any affect on speed in their boost list.

So many more examples of this, but genuinely curious as to if anyone has found a comprehension for this feature that has puzzled me for years.

I just want my players’ in game ratings to mirror what they are in the roster screen in my chise!!

So Freddie is back from the IL with a bang. He has hit 3 hr in 2 games. I guess he heard all the chatter that the Braves offense was just as good without him. Lol. We just reached the Allstar break so I will see what kind of contract he is asking for soon. And we will start the negotiations.

Staying with 20 as well.

I played a game from 2003 last night. MIN (cpu) at CLE (me). I lost 6-4. Matt Lawton hit a leadoff HR on the 3rd pitch from Kenny Rogers (55 power in my roster - left vs left). And then strangely enough I hit a single by Lawton in the 4th for 2 more RBI. Travis Hafner then blooped a single to right, falling in just between the 1B and RF - and I'm up 4-0. Then Minny started chipping away. Cut it to 4-3 in the 6th. Jake Westbrook was done. I get out of a critical jam to end the inning. David Riske then gave up an infield single, a rocket line drive to center. And then it was Jacque Jones crushing a 3-run HR to right. Outfielder never even moved. Bottom of the 9th I had 1st and 2nd with 1 out, but Eddie Guardado took care of business. Minny with 12 hits and me with 9. Realistic. Nerve racking. key moments. And just so much FUN!
