Today I used the pause menu to warm up my pitchers and it worked like a charm . Bcruise suggested this to me yesterday and it worked. It sounds like you already had them warmed up preciously using the dpad. Also when you warm them up use the “ ready and waiting “ option when the red ready bar is half way. They will continue to warm up until they are fully ready. Then when you are ready to bring them in use the pause menu again. I did this twice today and it worked both times. The results were still the same as I got shelled out of the pen again but this method works . Good luck

Awesome, that’s a huge help! Thanks man! I actually just recently discovered the quick menu (by using up on the D pad) which was super nice and convenient and since you never took a pause from hearing the buzz of the crowd, but looks like I’ll be doing it the old fashioned way now via the pause menu to ensure my relievers energy

How about pitchers on the cpu-controlled teams? That’s the issue for me with it at 5.

My “ah ha” moment was when the Cards were beating me 2-0 after 4 innings. They cpu pulled their starter (Martinez) even though he had a no-hitter and had thrown 73 pitches. That simply wouldn’t happen IRL

Yeah you're right about that. But what's funny he pitched against me last night. He started the game not at full stamina and only last 4 1/3 and threw 78 pitches. In the same game Soraka was at full stamina and threw 83 pitches before he got tired.

The cpu seems to be pretty good at getting into the 6th in most games. I'm not a big have to match real life stats specially through 51 games. I just thought it was interesting on how close my guys were.

I'm pretty locked in with stamina at 5 it feels good to me. And pretty realistic to what goes on in today's game.

Actually this game is so freaking dialed in it is scary. I'm absolutely in love with this game and cant put it down. The hit variety in this game amazes me every damn game. And now that the clean screen bugs are gone and stat bug is looking awesome this game will be the only game I play for a long time. Thank you SDS

Man the CPU is absolutely DANGEROUS on HOF. To me they are at least. This is the first iteration in awhile where I hang of a pitch or make a mistake and I’m puffing my cheeks out waiting for it to be hit 450 feet. I play the Yankees next and I’m scared lol. Side note: they absolutely killed the sound this year, in a good way. The way it sounds when you get a perfect/perfect swing HR is just amazing. Music to my ears.

I have had a slide in April. After a great start....we have run into some issues of late. Injuries and pitching falling off a cliff the last 8 games. We have lost 6 of our last 8.

The lowly last place Reds came into NY and took 2 out of 3 and now the Indians I have beaten us in the first 2 games by a combined score of 19-6.

We have hit the skids. This game is amazing.

Armor, when you go to edit players in the offseason using Warm Wind’s method, how do you know if you’re improving a guy beyond his original rating? Is it just the +/- on the screen when you look at their attributes? I’m assuming that’s where the determination is made.

Also, how long do these ratings changes stay where you can see them? In other words, when exactly do you go about making your edits? After the World Series or during the start of Spring Training?

I hope you and the family are doing well. Question for you....

I watch a ton of your Twitch streams (nice job), and it looks like you have defensive shifts set to manual (on the opening page of this thread). I never see you make defensive shifts in your streams though?

Do you always leave your defense on default "positioning"?
