A quick question though. When pressing the x button to pitch if I hold it down I get a little vibration. Is that max effort so less control? Or should I just be tapping the x button?

It’s like learning to pitch all over again.

DO NOT just tap the button. It leads to meatballs. Vary how long you hold it. Get a feel for each pitcher.

Armor, for the dynamic difficulty slider it says you do not use it but do you leave that slider at default 5 or put it to 0 or doesn’t it matter either way? Thanks .

If you are going to use it.....the higher the value the quicker it will graduate you to a new level. Once you feel you have maxed out what level you like.....take it down to zero to lock that level in.

            Steelers and Burgess,

Keep me informed how your games are going with those adjustments I suggested.

After I complete the month of May in all three of my franchises I will be finalizing this slider set.

So stay tuned everyone. In the meantime....if the OP is working for you....stick with it. If it is not...check the adjustments I suggest to Steelerd a page back.

            Have fun with it!!!!

Got ya. Thank you. I put it right to Zero at the start of my pirates franchise and was getting crushed. I thought something was odd. Being that it was at zero I had that locked in from the get go and things just got worse. I will put it to default until I feel the difficulty is perfect then put it back down to zero to lock that in. Thanks again!

If I am using your exact sliders though as in pitching and hitting difficulty on HOF it doesn’t matter then does it?

I will. Starting my Reds franchise again tonight. I’m leaving timing at 5 and using solid hits at 4 for both cpu and human, consistency at 6 for both and pitch speed at 9/8. Playing on HOF. Can’t thank you enough Armour for everything you do to make this game as great as it is.

First game with the new adjustments was a noticeable improvement in terms of difficulty hitting. I definitely had to sit on fastballs in order to make good contact on them and I struck out more this game than I had in previous games.

We'll probably start seeing the L's pile up once the schedule toughens up. (No offense Blue Jays fans)

Losing streak has reached five games. I’ve dropped 7 of my last 8 and I’m 2-8 in my last 10. I’m just at a loss. Nothing I can do results in a win. My pitching is so horrible and I have no way to acquire any help.

No it does not because we have it set to HOF and you would need your difficulty to be set to dynamic difficulty.

                          3 completely different games today
                          Series vs the marlins
Game 1 spent the whole game down 1-0, finally scored in the 7th and went up 2-1, marlins tied it in the 8th, 2 down with markaikis on 2nd in the bottom of the 9th austin Riley walked it off with double
Game 2 put up 7 in the first 4 innings, scored 3 runs off of homers and the rest were driving in and manufacturing runs. Highlight of the game was the 2 walk, 94 pitch No hitter by Max Fried
Game 3 Marlins beat me 8-5 hitting 5 homeruns in the process after not hitting any the first 2 games of the series. My pitchers were not hitting spots this game

One of the biggest adjustments I’m trying to make this year is just accepting results and not over-analyzing them. Right now I’m on probably the worst losing stretch I’ve ever had on this game. My pitching is the worst it’s ever been. I’ve nearly given up the most hits in the Majors and no matter how big of a lead I have, my bullpen blows it. Every time.

In tears past I’d be making side changes, thinking about difficulty adjustments, etc. But not this year. I’m just embracing that I’m in a funk and hopefully will work through it. If it doesn’t turn around at the deadline I’ll be sellers. I’ll offload some big names like Kris Bryant and build my pitching.

I am feeling your pain. I am struggling mightily at the plate, hitting just .228 (25th) with the DBacks as I have struggled to a (5-8) start. Pitching, on the other hand, which I usually struggle with, has been very good, as we have an ERA in the top 10.

I just cannot seem to get many hits, or any clutch hits. I have hit a bunch of line drives but it seems like they are right at people. I am sure things will turn around as we sit in last place.

This game is just so amazing, and this slider set is just fantastic!
