Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
Actually I played Detroit with the same exact sliders the first game of the season and they beat me 5-3 lol. The game variety is undeniable in The Show!

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
I'm having no issues with this current set up.
I pitched my first ever 1 hitter, with Walker Buehler. Then his next start, he struggles to get out of the 1st but does, second inning, struggles, 3 run bomb to Stanton......3rd inning, struggles, 3 run bomb to Goldschmidt.......
I finally realized that his fastball kept moving to the middle of the plate if I aimed it at the inside corner, so I started adjusting where I aimed the fastball, and he pitched 4 scoreless inning after that.
I still lost because my offense couldn't make up the difference lost 7-2.JUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDEComment

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
I have been playing with Armors setup, no ball marker or vibration, mlb 15 batting camera because I've always liked it best
H & cpu foul frequency at 4
H & cpu starter and reliever stamina at 6
H & cpu pitch consistency at 7 (maybe the best move i have made)
manager hook at 4
fielder speed at 4
baserunner steal ability and frequency both at 6
and my pitch speeds are 8/7
everything else at default
I am loving it! I still have to fear hitters that I should, but can get many of them to swing out of the zone. Same when I am hitting but with the consistency at 7 myself nor the cpu are over the middle as often. Still getting 2-4 walks a game for human and cpu. Strikeout numbers have finally increased, which is something i've been looking for.
I started the year with my own slider set, which worked until i started noticing odd things i didn't like. Then went back to Armors and it was going great until I started winning too much and made adjustments necessary for myself. I urge others to try the same if something in your game is bothering you. The one thing I am not doing is starting my franchise over. Just making a change here and there and moving forward. This game is AwesomeComment

Are injuries an issue with this set? I am 66 games into the season and have had five starters go to the Injured List, while no one else in the entire league has had any injuries except in games against me. Seems pretty odd.Comment

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
I just played Detroit without miggy. They’re straight up not even fun to play against. In 3 games I have outscored them 36-3 lol. All my other recent games have been completely normal scores.

I'm just a few games past the Trade deadline and had a complete look at each teams moves and im loving the deals the CPU has made . I won't go into all the trades that happened , so I'll just share a few of the biggest and awesome moves that happened.
Boston trades - M. Chavis , B. Dalbec , Chad De La Guerra to the Royals in exchange for Whit Merrifield. And to my surprise the Royals then take Michael Chavis and flip him to the Padres in exchange for SP Joey Lucchesi and RP Drew Pomeranz.
Angles trade - Jahmai Jones , Noe Ramirez to the Royals in exchange for Jorge Soler .
And here is one of the best trades and I think the Athletics won big here , Oakland acquire Jorge Polanco , Luis Arraez and Homer Bailey from the Twins for Marcus Semien who is a free agent at the end of this season and wants some serious $$$$$ . The Cpu knows what it's doing lol I think the Athletics come out as huge winners in this move . And they also traded the amazing Ramon Laureano to the Phillies in exchange for SP Spencer Howard , SS Bryson Stott and CF Ramon Quinn. And there was some really big moves made all around , too many to write and clutter this thread with . These moves just got me excited even tho they have nothing to do with me lol Really impressed by the CPU and the trades that happened.

Absolutely nothing wrong with injuries. Check your settings for your profile and the CPU profile you assign them (assuming you are employing 30 team control).
I have plenty all around the league and on my team.

Hahaha yea true . The A's are set for the future with all the studs they pillaged from the the Twins and Phillies lol Laureano is having a monster season so far , CF All Star and hitting nearly. 300 with 26 bombs already . But the Phillies are nearly 10 games back off the final wild card spot . Maybe they think he will help them turn it around ....... Ur Phillies are seriously struggling , especially Hoskins who is only hitting .211 and has 11 homers in like 105 games . Also really gone down in his ratings .
