            Any tips to get more cpu strikeouts? Playing as the struggling Tigers certainly doesn’t help, but at most I’m striking out about 4 batters per game.

                Probably a couple things help. Pitchers with high strike out ratings. And pitching outside and inside the strike zone, rarely doing the same sequence. I'm definitely guilty of repeating successful sequences to my own demise.....

                    For me, there is nothing better in sports games, especially The Show, than finding players for cheap to fill roles, and those players end up going above and beyond what you expected, while your prospects continue to marinate in the minors....

                        Slight update on my Phillies chise. Phil's won NLDS Game 5 at home and moved on to the NLCS against the Dodgers.

                        Game 1 against the Dodgers was a 6-2 Phil's W, the bats came alive late, even though Buehler was striking out guys left and right.

                        Game 2 was an absolute battle against Kershaw, 4-3 Phil's W that went 11 innings. The whole game even having a 3-0 lead, didn't think I'd be able to sneak out a W.

                        So Phillies get to go home stealing 2 Games in LA...and I still feel like I have no shot of making it to the World Series lol.

                        These playoff games have been playing phenomenal...they feel like strategic battles every game. It justifies for me just how much good sliders and the gameplay of 20 truly works as it should.

                            Any input on reason for this and also, do you still sim games at 5 or do you leave it on 4 full time. I left it on 4 for a couple games and I had the Phillies leave their pitcher in to bat in the 7th inning and then brought a reliever in to start the 8th. I know this could be a programming issue but I didnt notice it happening when I had relivers hook at 5. I could have missed it but just wondering...

                                        Man, I hate that they no longer give you a warning prior to your second mound visit of the inning. I had to pause a game for a few hours and when I returned I forgot that I had already had a mound visit. Had to put a cold pitcher in. Was so mad that yes, I’m starting my franchise over! Grrr!!

                                                Yeah, that happens to me. Sometimes when I don’t even stop playing. I don’t know why they can’t give us that warning like they used to.
