    Re: S & B's Directional/Classic/Quick Counts MLB 22 Sliders

~~》Rosenthal plays hero to zero within one game to the next in his debut with Seattle. Astros take the rubber match to win series.

~》Mariners have now lost 6 of their last 7.

    Game one: Mariners (6 10 1) vs Astros (8 13 1) 11 innings

    W- P. Maton(1-0) SP F. Valdez 6ip 5h 2er 0bb 8k
    L- J. Sheffield (0-2) SP C. Flexen 7ip 3h 1er 2bb 2k
    HRs- M. Haniger (5), T. France (1); A. Díaz (2)
    PotG- 3B Alex Bregman; 3 for 5, three 2B, 3RBI

***We were up 2-0 to start the 8th. It was 3-3 to begin the 11th. A wild ending and another heartbreaking loss.

    Game two: Mariners (2 5 0) vs Astros (1 6 0) 10 innings

    W- S. Romano (1-0) SP M. Foltynewicz 6.2ip 3h 1er 1bb 3k
    L- C. Javier (1-1) SP L. Garcia 5ip 3h 1er 0bb 7k
    HRs- none
PotG- 1B Ty France; 2 for 4 2RBI, Walk off rbi single bottom 10th.

    Game three: Mariners (5 7 2) vs Astros (8 6 1)

    W- J. Odorizzi (1-0); SP J. Urquidy 3.1ip 4h 4er 1bb 4k
    L- T. Rosenthal (0-1); SP R. Ray 6ip 4h 3r 2er 1bb 8k
    S- R. Pressly (4)
    HRs- J. Winker (4,5,6); Y. Alvarez (5), K. Tucker (6)
PotG- RF Kyle Tucker; 2 for 4? 2B, HR, 3RBI

**Again we were up late. 5-2 lead in the 7th. Tucker hits a clutch 3 run homerun on newly signed Rosenthal to give them a then 6-5 lead.

I have lost so many heartbreaking losses already! Just blowing late leads are really upsetting.

    ~~Injury news~~

●Dodgers SP Trevor Bauer out 1-2 months. Recalled SP Danny Duffy.

I can't remember who it was.

Each ump calls a completely different strike zone.

Mariners salvaged the last game of the series to avoid the sweep. The last two games were very well played games. The hook slider at 8 played nicely.

          Game one:

          CHW 7 13 0

          W- D. Keuchel ( 2 - 0 )

I’m going to bump cpu control up to 6 for a few games to see if that helps with the HBP.

I’m just thinking if the bump to 6 in control helps with the HBP then maybe consit can work back down some.

How are your games so far? With your Mets pitching staff that might be hard to tell lol.

Are you using quick counts? I can’t remember if you said you were or not a while ago. If not, check your strike rate percent in the pitching logs screen (I think it is called something like that). You want to be around 60-70% strikes thrown. Basically the amount of strikes divided by total pitches. Your ace pitchers should be a little higher.
I love your slider sets, and these are playing really well.

I also use Meter pitching with this set and am throwing almost no pitches outside the zone unless I choose to make a mistake by holding the stick to an extreme spot. If I just pitch normally I am throwing about 85-90 percent strikes and the CPU loves to oblige, I strike out around 14 batters a game.

I'm going to drop to 0/0 on Control/Consistency and see if that helps. Would raising a certain CPU slider a tick or two help with the CPU swinging through so many pitches and striking out so often?

Thanks for the great slider set! I’m just wondering if this slider works with Legend Pitching Difficulty. Hall of Fame is a little bit easy for me. Is there anyone who’s trying this?

Did you adjust the CPU timing slider back up? Got mine settled at 4 now for meter pitching.

I've been playing with control at 5 and consistency at 4. So far it's been better. Have one hbp in four games. I'll see how it is after 10 games. The original 5/3 setting I had 8 HBP in 10 games so that wasn't gonna fly lol

This was what I was gonna say. Timing at 0 for classic pitching gives us the strikeouts while being able to keep control and consistency low where we want it to issue walks etc.
