He is out 1-2 months with a knee injury for me at the moment. He made it all of 5 games.

I use Armors set up on the contract renewals for all 30 teams. It really makes things interesting. Like in 21 Freeman renewed his contract with ATL.

I also use Funkycorns injury system when going into a new year, and that keeps things fresh as well.

Yeah we used his system for resigning guys during the season too. I think it was not until after trade deadline you were to do it. Worked really well and made things interesting. We do a lot extra with trades too. List buyers and sellers and use a random system to decide who gets what player based on need etc. Just another dynamic to make it interesting. Also it gives some realism into your franchise with realistic trades made based on what is happening in your season.

So when you're selling off your team come July you would be trading to the team it chooses who is buying with some randomness. Keeps you honest as well so you don't just trade for the best prospects you can get. If you're a buyer it keeps you honest with not getting whoever you want.

So raising consistency to 6 would mean less pitches that are too far away from the plate?

Not sure if you had seen what funkycorn does with the injuries or not. If not it’s below, and is pretty nice being that at the beginning of each season injuries are reset.

Any player on any team that has an injury that is listed 6+ months recovery will be manually given an injury with 1-2 month recovery at the start of spring training.

Using this teams will go into the season with guys down.

5 game losing streak! Up 2-0 to start the 8th. Flexen gives up a leadoff double. Only 3rd hit allowed. I out in Steckenrider. He gives up a 2 run homer to tie the game. Top 9th they single. Pinch run. Two outs Meyers Steals 2nd. Bergman doubles for 3-2 lead.

I manage to tie it back bottom 9 with a Kyle Lewis rbi single. Tied 3-3 head to 11th. Wheels fall off! Sheffield gives up 5 runs. 2 unearned from me throwing to wrong base into the outfield. They're now up 8-3! I somehow score 3 runs in the bottom half on a 3rbi double by Kelenic. That was all I could get and lose 8-6. Just unbelievable. I am almost sick thinking how Flexen was so good with 7ip and only 3 hits allowed and manage to lose another game late.

Never experienced this many heartbreaking losses in a season let alone like 3 of the last 5 now have been absolute killers.

So after you determine who are buyers and sellers you make a list of all the players with expiring contracts form the sellers. Then you see who needs what position from the buyers. So if you have a outfielder and you have 4 teams that might need a outfielder, you give a team a number and do a random number generator. So you aren’t going to get whoever you want.

Last year with the Braves, I needed a outfielder. I was hoping for guys like Castanellos and some other big name players but I didn’t get any of them. I won the random generator for SP Wade Miley though.

Apologies if this has been asked, but with respect to the card modifiers, there are two tables in the first post so when you pull a card do you perform the action in each of the two tables that corresponds to that card?

No, it is just a 2nd option. The first one has some contact, power, solid hits sliders. The 2nd table doesn’t have that and has more fielding, speed, error sliders. You can choose which one you want to go with. You don’t use both of them.
