Send them down until the snowflake is gone. I did this last year with RP Brasier and even Chris Sale. Worked great for Brasier. Unfortunately I just could never get a feel when pitching with Sale regardless.

I turn waivers on manual for all cpu teams so I can always send guys up and down for my team and theirs without worrying about losing a player to waivers. This allows me to remove low rated guys from 40 man for better players that make sense to call up for injuries for cpu controlled teams.

So if I remove Marte from the 40 man roster someone may claim him from my team?

Yes. Unless you set waivers to manual for cpu controlled teams assuming you are doing 30 team control.

You can send him down without removing him from 40 man. But if you need to add Jankowski to 40 man you obviously will have to remove someone in his place.

You don’t want to remove Marte from the 40 man roster. This game lets you demote anyone pretty much to the minors. Everybody has options available. If you have to remove someone from the 40 man just pick someone with low ratings and a D or C potential.

Well I am going to restart my Mariners franchise tonigjt. I got Ridin’s rosters and have them set up with the bullpens. I was 33-17 and then I started over with Antortiz roster and I was 22-12 as the Mariners. Going to start my official franchise tonight. It will be nice to have a season go with the same settings to see how they play out.



And I said I wouldn’t do this. Lol

I’m holding out and not starting over as of now lol. How’s the roster look?

I removed the lowest rated pitcher from the 40 man roster and added Jankowski to the 40 man roster.
I then sent down Marte and called up Jankowski.

Marte's stats for the year:

19 hits in 114 AB .167 AVG
1 RBI on the year and that was a Sac Fly
He has been horrible. Hopefully a stint in the minors will get him going .

I haven’t played a game yet so not sure on the equipment or anything. Some of my players that I checked the ratings seem pretty close to what the live rosters have been. It was 40 man rosters already so that was nice. I always thought they do 26 man cause I usually get one of the updated ones in previous years.

What I don’t get is how they don’t have a name audio for Ken Giles. I get why he doesn’t have a regular name but Giles is a common name that should be in the choices. We had Brian Giles about a decade ago. It is funny, I’m not sure if the Cubs Japanese player is a player name or a choice from the selection. But we can get his name closer than Giles lol

Yep closest thing I found was Quinn. Which I might do because I’m tired of him being called “#38”

Are you seeing the cpu hit homers on power at 3?

For me, it seems like power at 4 and it is too many home runs. Trying to find the right balance with power at 3. Solid hits at 5. Right now I am testing human control and consistency at 4/3. Even debating on going to solid hits at 6 and raising the control to 5.

For hitting side, For me personally, I’m testing power at 3 and solid hits at 4. I’m on Allstar + for hitting. I feel like solid hits at 5 is a little too much but 4 feels not enough.

With those hits, you should be getting back to higher difficulty right?

I always went with the sliders here.
Yeah, I have to make a decision now, either lower pitching difficulty or raise hitting, because there are way too many hits and HRs on both sides.

The problem with the foul balls is, I can´t switch to a new pitcher in the first three innings. It almost everytime happens in the first 4 innings.

I am new to Franchise, always played RTTS. Ridin´s rosters are just minor league changes? So the 40 man roster is untouched?
Would you recommend to start a Franchise with that or wait until Truesim is finished with the full roster? I am not so sure, if I will ever play more than one season with a team.

I always went with the sliders here.

I would turn on the pitching difficulty dynamic on and see where that takes you. I’m go mostly between HOF and Allstar+. But right now I’m at HOF+. You don’t want to lower too much or you’ll start to nerf them.

For hitting, raise pitch speeds to 6. Or even 7. I had to do that as well.

Ridin updated the top 100 prospects to be more accurate. He did equipment updated and added prospects that were missing.

We did True Sim rosters last year and we liked them. But we had to adjust the sliders a bit for that roster. I am like you where I usually play a season and that’s it. And if I play a 2nd season I usually pick a new team. So I’m not picky. But if you like his pitch edits on that roster and the rating system then you could wait for his rosters. But Ridin rosters are good as well. I have been playing with the live rosters so Ridin’s rosters are pretty similar. So it is up to you.
