How’s everyone in this thread feeling about the sliders after the most recent update?

I think okay so far . I am struggling to hit as I am down to veteran plus for difficulty. But I was struggling before the patch. Still trying to find the right balance for cpu. I got hit hard so I got knocked down to Allstar pitching. I have been trying cpu solid hits at 7 with their power and timing at 3. Just kind of testing it out.

You turn it on dynamic. Easiest thing to do is go to exhibition mode and play against an AA team. Put the dynamic slider on max and max out all your offensive sliders and put all cpu sliders to 0. Should take you about 2 games.

I just threw my first career perfect game. Logan Gilbert dominated the Blue Jays. Had 16 K. That was very fun. I feel like the announcers called it really good.

And once it’s there do I just turn the dynamic difficulty down to lock it in?

Yes, put the dynamic sensitivity slider to 0 to lock it in

Yep. Unless you want it to change as you go along. I have it at 3 and it hardly moves in a game. I would also save a new profile under that profile so you have it in case it resets. Sometimes people say the dynamic resets. So you can have like profile 1 and then make another profile 2 and they both will have that Allstar + dynamic.

The last 2 innings. I didn’t think it was serious until the 7th inning. Didn’t want to jinx myself.

I’ll give these a shot. I’ve tried just about every other set lol. I like how you look for results within specific stats. What are you guys rolling with for pitch speed?

I will have to check it out. That is a once in a season thing man. You probably won't even come close for the rest of the time 2022 is out. Everything had to align right for that to happen.

We do default pitch speed. I have tried 6 and it works well. But I always seem to go back to 5.

So are these not for hof hitting and pitching?

Sounds like you’re using dynamic difficulty? I’ve honestly gotten so tired of the slider game that I’ve contemplated just using dynamic difficulty for the remainder of the season. I just don’t know if there’s a sample size before I “lock in” the difficulty or what number on the dynamic difficulty slider I would use to keep it changing at a reasonable rate.
