Luckily I did have a cloud save on my switch from where I was 27-27 so I transferred that to my PS5 and started back from that point with our new sliders.

I was 7 games back and just had a big series against the first place Astros and I ended up sweeping them so now I’m 33-30 at 4 games back.

    How’s your franchise going?
That is a good idea. We should always have multiple saves. From now on I will have a different save file for every 10-15 games for my franchises.

Will be lowering human timing to 0 myself. Get more strikeouts against me that was needed and still hit plenty. Have hit two homeruns game I am playing now even.

I feel like the sliders are in a perfect place for me. My franchise record is 19-20, I had lost 6 out of 9 on my road trip winning the final 2 games and came home to face the Royals. I beat them 7-1 for a 3 game winning streak and came back to earth in the 2nd game of the series, losing 14-6.

            Re: S & B's Directional/Classic/Quick Counts MLB 22 Sliders

The new sliders are extremely good, and well balanced. Giving us exactly the type of games, stats we wanted to achieve from the begi ning. Just finished a three game series vs Nationals with my Mets franchise. deGrom, Scherzer, Bassitt were SP.

            Game one: Mets (6 7 0) @ Nats (1 9 1)
            Game two: Mets (4 14 0) @ Nats (1 6 0)
            Game three: Mets (4 11 0) @ Nats (9 15 1)

Even if they aren't scoring they are still getting some hits. Game three Bassitt wasn't good and my bullpen surprisingly was not either, allowing 4 runs themselves. It was just an all around bad game for us as they avoided the sweep and stopped our mini 4 game win streak.

It's sometimes more fun for me to test sliders than it is to play so taking as long as it takes to get them where we want really doesn't bother me at all. I think we both enjoy it just the same.

I’m a father but my question is about gaming time and your significant other. Anyone have a partner that doesn’t mind you spending free time with a controller in your hands? Just curious how it works out for everyone to find time for gaming, (stress release for me) and still functioning as a husband or bf.
I work 5a-1p but I get up around 2 am so I can play in peace. How much time per day do you’ll get for gaming?

I feel ya man. Husband with two little girls myself. I work 8a-8p Wed-Sat so those days I really don't find the time to play. If I do it's late and just one game. On off days I do get some playing time in. Usually it's late after everyone is in bed, or like this morning I played a game before everyone was up. Sometimes I can play during the day if nothing is going on.

Went to the Zoo yesterday, Sunday went to see a movie and mall shopping. And now watching Toy Story with the kids, so I think I've found a good balance though my wife may argue that lol.

If I were to give a tip to ya it would be to play using quick counts to get through games quicker. I've recently gone to fast play presentation after 1st inning too. If a HR is hit I switch off fast play to get the replay and trot around the bases, then switch back to fast play. Getting through games quickly is key for a husband with kids if I want to finish a season lol.

I am a father of a 3 year old boy and am married. I only play while she’s at work and my son is napping or in bed. So I average about 1-2 games a day. On the weekends I can play more cause my wife works weekends and I can play about 3 games during his 2-3 hour nap and some more at night when he goes to bed.

I have been playing some games after everyone goes to bed to get some more games in.

It is hard to balance and when you have a kid you don’t have a choice lol. My son watches Disney Junior. Definitely don’t want to make your partner mad that you don’t pay attention or help around the house. Lol

I just read Bryan’s comment and we do almost the same thing. I work swing shift so my schedule is always different but I wake up early when I’m not working nights and I’ll play before anybody else is even awake in the house. I’ll also play when my kids go to bed.

My wife has zero issue with me playing games. She’s a book nerd to the max. She will even be like “I hope you’re playing a game because I have a new book I want to read”

The Colorado Rockies. I always choose a team that has mid to low expectations to play my season each year. I like the challenge of shaking up the MLB postseason race. It's a tough division with LA, SF and SD all ahead of me on May 15th.

I am struggling at the plate. I use OP as of today and All Star hitting. Default pitch speeds. I usually use pitch speeds both at max. But I was hitting even less. Is it just as easy as increasing the timing slider and lower it as I get better? When I win it’s usually a lot of small ball. The odd home run.

Nice to hear from you! I would raise timing. That should help. We have it low to get strikeouts. I would try 5 and if that feels too much then I would go down a little.

Are you just not getting hard hit balls?

Choppers and pop ups. I’m usually very early or late. The cpu is bang on for me. I strike them out, walk them give up hits and homers. But I can’t get into a groove this year some reason.
