Throwing errors correct? We have it at 10 just to get errors close to realistic. Kinda just have to ignore the type of errors and just look at it as errors only. You can always lower it from 10 though for whatever you prefer. Plenty of room to move it down in order to get the amount of errors you're wanting.

I actually don't mind if they are only throwing errors. I'm just mote worried about them only being from infielders. Like if I did a full 162 with these all my outfielders would have perfect fielding while guys like ke'bryan Hayes get two errors a month. That shouldn't be a problem if i start to simulate but I'd hate to ruin a good infield defender because of that.

I have been seeing a few error throws from the outfielders missing the cutoff man. Which leads to runners advancing. Crazy because OF Throwing errors is at 0. But yeah, you don’t see hardly any OF errors. You could put that at 5 and see how it goes. When we raise OF Errors, we notice the outfielders bobble the ball when a ball lands in front of them for a single. It is more of a nuisance cause it doesn’t ever give them an error obviously but it happens sometimes when you are going to want to try to throw a runner out and now you can’t because of the bobble. It might not bother you like us so you could try it.

Not really anything slider related would help with that. Any slider that would improve offense would improve all offense not just when runners are on base. You could try to be more patient at the plate looking for a better pitch, maybe. It is frustrating sometimes. Some games I can get runners on base but never bring them home.

First time I'm trying out quick counts... How do I change my pitcher during an innings so that my new pitcher doesn't come in during a count/at bat? If I want to change I can only seem to do it during a count.

Unfortunately, the only way to do is when you are batting you can select schedule to bring in pitcher in the bullpen screen. Then before that inning starts, it will ask you if you want to bring in that pitcher. If you choose yes, then he will get credit for the count.

Yeah i thought this was the case... That's a bummer.. My reliever was shocking and I wanted to bring him out mid innings but he starts his next count... Annoying!

Yes, for sure some cons to using quick counts. But without it I wouldn't come close to finishing a full 162 game season. I really like as well is pitch counts feel more realistic overall.

I went with 7/5/5/7 for cpu contact/power/timing/solid hits and really liked how that felt, and the errors weren't as bad as I initially thought either. I think I'm going to roll with that as I did a game where I play locked priester for a pitching outing and he still struggled, giving up 3 in 5 innings, and my bullpen gave up a run as well as i jumped in and played the rest of the fame after priester was pulled, and we lost 4-3 to the giants. Pirates went 4-6 in 10 games that were simmed (plus the priester game), and priester had a really bad outing his next start so he's going to the minors to work on things. Pirates are still 12.5 games up with 40 to play so im guessing playoffs will be a thing for them. We are 74-48 and I anticipate getting to the playoffs by next week as I will probably do a lot of simming since we are in firm control. Looking forward to trying this set out in the playoffs and most likely getting smoked lol. Will post the results as they come.

Overall though I want to thank you guys for this set, it's been a lot of fun and can't wait to see how the pirates do in the future with these.

Good little small sample size last 7 games of my franchise really illustrates how locked in this set is for me. 4 of those results have had a final score of 4-3, the other 2 were high scoring games and the other was a 2-1 pitchers duel! Games have been tight, but there’s the right amount of variance and the baseball season is playing out beautifully!

About to go live, facing Shohei (league leader in era) for the first of 3 in Anaheim. Should be a fun challenge

Got up to the September callups with the pirates sitting at 77-57, struggling a little now but still 13 games up on the under .500 brewers who are in 2nd place (they are actually beating me in season series as is the cardinals and I'm barely ahead of cubs season series and reds...are the reds lol so I did not do this to them). Played one full game against the braves, Bryce Wilson got the start and pitched 4 good frames before falling apart in the 5th, giving up 5 in the inning, 6 overall, and the giants held on to win 8-6. Upon simming the pirates lost conforto for 6+ months with a dislocated ankle, and will miss the rest of the season and possibly some of next. Pirates call up Ben gamel to replace, and will also likely call up Josh van meter as one of the Sept call ups. Pirates roster is starting to thin out, and they are struggling at a time the post season race is heating up, and will likely have to face the dodgers or giants in the first round, as those two are within .5 games of each other.

Based on how everything felt with the few player locks I did in both the majors and minors (priester was dominant in a start in aaa), and the full game I played this set is now a huge go for me. I want to thank you both Irish and Bryan for a fantastic set. There's not much for me to do with adjustments now other than either very minor tweaks if I see something go whack, or adjusting pitch speed for hitting. With that I think I'll start posting how my franchise is going in the franchise thread if anyone wants to keep tabs on how these pirates are doing. I'll also be streaming the progress on twitch as i have been. Thanks again for the set, and looking forward to diving more into the roster aspect of franchise more for the first time. Definitely is keeping the game fresh for me.

Hey guys, I just made the switch over from Armor's sliders to yours. I have nothing against Armor's sliders, but I was struggling to be competitive with them. I'm 14 games into a franchise using your sliders and I'm 8-6 with every game being absolutely wonderful. Thanks for the sliders, they're making this game fun again!

For what it's worth, I went against everything I've said in other threads and went with my hometown team, the Guardians. Normally I choose a team I don't really follow but I love the team they put together this year with all the young talent, and I love Terry Francona as a manager. Of course the irony is they still have Franmil Reyes because I'm using last week's rosters, and he went and singlehandedly beat the Reds a few games ago...but it is what it is.
