My 2 cents...but I know people won't like this idea.

To reduce K's and get the cpu to produce (without increasing the sliderst such ), you have to let the AI call your pitches and you have to follow it to a tee.

Takes all the fun out of it, but it's the only way I can balance the cpu bats.

Yeah me and Steve follow the catcher’s suggestion all the time. So basically, we have auto fielding and auto throwing. All we technically do is aim to his glove and push the pitch button.

I wish they would let us do manage mode on pitching m only. Manage mode is cool you can watch the game and make decisions but you can’t play the game. Would be okay if I could manage mode pitching and play on offense.

We have thought about doing quick manage pitching but that takes you out of the im errs ion of the game.

It's crazy that The Show has now come down to us pressing a button to pitch and a button to hit and having to watch pretty much everything else (except baserunning).

Hmm weird... I use V3, Classic pitching, Catcher's suggestions, No QC and I've had plenty of games with double digit Ks... All my games have been play now games, havent started my Franchise yet... But don't believe that matters.

Man, I do not know how you can wait THIS long to do a franchise lol. I would be tired of playing play now games lol. You waiting for a roster? Do you finish the season?

Lol, yes I was waiting for Cycloniac to finish his TrueSim roster.

And lol yes, I will finish the season, I'll be playing 23 next 24 is released.

Agreed with having to wait so long to start! I honestly kept the game shelved until OSFM came out last week.
Just got my league set up using the Marlins! Going to play 1 game each series to try to catch up to the mid season break.

Had a week off from the game. Rangers now sit at 21-10 after taking down 23-9 LAA 3-1. Stats were interesting I walked 9, only allowed 2 hits.

After all this time the sliders are still holding up.

Some people are complaining that the new accuracy meter still doesn't cause enough errors. I can let you know that I am making plenty of errors. Just like in real life you only have ONE chance to field a grounder and throw a runner out.If you try to rush the throw you will make a error. I think that the people saying that there is not enough errors just don't have the infield timing right. My errors come when I have to get a throw off or else. The errors are NEVER intentional they just naturally happen.

The infield timing is what I enjoy most in the game. It perfectly matches real life. I have mentioned this before. Anything other than a sharply hit ground ball is a question mark especially if the batter has speed.

Baserunner speed is a SUBTLE BUT POWERFUL WEAPON. There are so many plays in the game where it is the determining factor of the play in question.
The same can be said for the fielder speed as well.

I’m using the sliders exactly to V4. A few adjustments I’m making in other areas.
Auto fielding - Gameplay looks better
Auto baserunning - CPU gets aggressive at times which are questionable, I’d like the same fairness. It also keep the sim feel, sometimes you wouldn’t run, but the fielder makes a bad throw, it’s fun 50/50 game.
Auto throwing - If I’m using auto fielding, pushing a button doesn’t do much. Plus the CPU will make the right throw or what makes sense. Also NO BLUE CIRCLE
CPU pitch suggestion and location - Purely because I find myself keeping everything low. Also makes the CPU a bit lively swinging. Real life catchers are calling games, so I’ll keep that feel.

We are testing cpu solid hits at 0. So far it is helping them with keeping their batting averages in check.

I thought I was close to finally enjoying this years game but I still can’t fix the strikeouts.. I’m on legend pitching with control and consistency at 0, cpu timing and contact at 8 and foul frequency at 10. What slider will help them stop chasing bad pitches! ? I’m really happy with their offence but I’m striking them out almost always 10+ k per game

I suggest legend pitching with your sliders at default.
