Re: Rmiok222 MLBTS 23 Legend Sliders
I have been using sliders exactly as posted with pitch speed at 5. I am using Full Minors roster. I am having great games with these sliders and that roster.
The problem I am having is the lack of home runs. After playing 13 games I only have 6 home runs which is at the bottom of the league. I am playing with the Phillies with Harper who only has 1 home run.
Anyone else having this problem? What slider could I increase without messing up a great playing set of sliders. ThanksJUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDEComment

Thank you will take both replies into account. I will keep playing as is and if home runs don’t improve after awhile I will increase powerComment

Sorry just saw your question. For what it’s worth I am 135 games into my season and I rank 1st in the AL in homeruns. Just keep plugging away!

I had to laugh I was complaining about home runs. The next game I played I hit 3 home runs. Now I just need to decrease my strikeoutsComment

What team are you using? Just curious how your contact ratings are. I’m averaging about 7-8 per game.

I am using the Phillies. I guess I need more patience at the plate. Pitches high in the strike zone and breaking pitches are my downfallComment

For sure. Try toying with batting cameras too to make sure you can see those pitches better. I use catcher near with adjustments rotated down and panned down as well. Here’s a pic of what it looks like. IMG_6534.JPG

Camera angle makes a big difference. I use wide. I love fish eye, but I can only use it for pitching it's pretty hard to hit with fish eye.

I second this, a good camera angle can be the difference between hitting dead last and hitting league average. Want to throw Strikezone 3 into the mix. First year I’ve used it and I’m absolutely loving it. It’s a really nice balance between fisheye and strikezone. I have no trouble picking up pitches, it’s far enough away I can still see my entire batter, down both lines and can really take in the beautiful parks while not sacrificing my vision.Last edited by tc020791; 07-23-2023, 11:50 AM.Comment

Re: Rmiok222 MLBTS 23 Legend Sliders
Playing with STL into May I am in the top 10 in most hitting categories and I believe top 5 in HR and runs scored, but dead last in BB:K and OBP due to never taking walks and not being able to work counts. I have been tinkering with my camera as well and have been able to draw more walks and lay off those low off speed pitches. I think when I get hot with the bat It causes me to get swing happy and fall into bad habits

Yeah I get like that too sometimes when I’m raking at the plate. Getting into hitter counts like you said helps a lot. Just waiting for that 3-1 fastball to crush.
