I am not doing this on MLB 24, just rolling with injuries at 10 for played games and then 6 for simulated games. But years past, I came up with a way to get fair injuries for your team and the team you play.

Make a save prior to playing your game. Simulate the game and make note of any injuries for that game. Reload save and play the game. After the game turn injuries on manual to create the injury and use random number app to decide how many days misses.

If you want to go further, look at box score and see how many ABs or IP the guy had before injury. Then simulate that into the game when you play it. Forcing you to sub out your SP after 1.2ip for example for hid "injury".

the issue I'm having though is I'm not getting any injuries at all from simmed games. even kicking the slider up to 9 hasn't yielded any yet. I laid it all out in my post one above the one you replied to

I think you still have injuries set on manual in the CPU profile. Because when I sim throughout the calendar I'm lucky if I can get through the whole day without an injury popup. I have my profile to alert me of MLB injuries only. If you are doing 30 team control, have a CPU profile set to the other 29 teams and your own profile set to your team. And then before you go to settings, you can to R1/L1 to the CPU profile and then go to settings and change injuries to On. Each profile will have different settings/options.

Let me know if you have any questions and I can try to walk you through it.

When I AM able to breakaway from DD and Conquest, I absolutely have a blast with V3 and the game plays out really nice.

However I have a new problem....lol, I redownloaded Far Cry 5, and have been mad addicted to that, so much so in fact I just picked up Far Cry Primal for $8.00 on my X.

I really want to get my Dodger franchise started, but I'm afraid by the time comes football season will be here (although Im not sure about either EA title this year).

Before I forget Bryan, may I ask what rosters you are using? or going to use?
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

The Dodgers franchise is the live roster from 5/2.

Maybe I’m just going through a rough patch, but has anyone noticed anything from any recent updates. Came back to the game after a few weeks off, and literally can’t draw a walk anymore lol. For me once the pitcher gets to 3 balls they throw nothing but strikes. I thought I had things nailed down.

I think it really is dependent on the pitcher that day. I've played quite a few games since the update and my 11 games, here are my walk numbers.

                  6, 4, 6, 0, 2, 2, 1, 4, 5, 1, 1. That is a 2.9 average which is still low in MLB standards but probably good for me.

I so like to watch a CPU v. CPU game about half the time. I have stamina at 10 for CPU starter and 4 at manager hook. I do change the hook to 10 when a receiver enters, over with stamina at 10 and hook at 4, starters still only pitch about 5 innings and I watch with quick counts. Any suggestions, maybe pumping up starter stamina?

I have cpu SP stamina at 9 and user at 7 with quick counts. Same as you. I see 6ip easy if they're pitching well. But usually 5ip is all, or into 6th but unable to finish. Pretty realistic honestly. Just ignore pitch counts and it is what it is.

I have heard others saying they raise SP stamina +10 before a game, then drop back down after the game so you could try that. I think it's +10 I saw someone saying they do.

Seems like fielder reaction is so bad for this game .... like doing that cartoon shuffle before they "stage left" or "stage right." Why so low? Seems like maxing out is about proper.

Using the same and it's still playing great! The only change I made was my User Bullpen at 7 because the stamina is taking a long time to recover. I was getting a little worried because I shut out the Marlins 2 games in a row, then I played the Mets and Nola was mowing them down, looking towards another shutout. Then I gave up 3 HRs in an inning (Classic Nola!). So much variety!

Yeah, I think that is a smart move on your bullpen stamina. It isn't like you want them to pitch longer in the game, just want them to be able to pitch 2 in a row. If they pitch 2 days in a row, they should be really low on energy on the 3rd day.

I usually on pitch relievers an inning or two at a time anyway. I'm not usually pitching a guy until he's tired. At 7 they day to day stamina seems about right. Usually can get guys 2 days in a row until their stamina gets too low.
