Always looking to you all for a fun game of baseball! Let us know how the 10 vs. 9 stats turn out!
Agree, I've had mine at 9 for awhile. I can't get any Ks with Houston's pitching staff.

I pitched with 9/5/5/5/4 in the 3 game series against the Dbacks and they had 28 K. Bobby Miller had 5 IP 7 K, Glasnow 7 IP 6 K, and Yamamoto 7 IP 4 K.

in 3 games they hit .220 with 4 HR.

I think it might be the rosters we are using that is making the difference.

Did that series give you a good feel with the 9/5/5/5/4 or did it feel lifeless? .220 seems a little low, but 4 HR and 28K seems close to normal for 3 games.

Their hit total was 9, 4, and 9. The 2nd game Glasnow was doing good. So that lowered their average. But the 2 games they gave me some pressure. I play the Pirates next so it will be tough to tell against them as they are in last place.

Sorry, you probably mentioned more than once but what roster you’re using ?

How is Truesim compared to live roster is terms of hitting-pitching ?

                        I’m using the Fidelity rosters.

I know the True Sim rosters rerate the players and they update the pitches for the pitchers. I want to say they make the sinkers two-seamers I think?

I think they adjust the potentials to make the rosters better long term. The difference I notice is the strikeouts across the league are more realistic with the ffidelity rosters. The live rosters, there aren’t enough strikeouts in the simulated games. You’ll see your offense and pitching lead the league in strikeouts.

                          I use the SDS roster.

4 games using cpu contact at 4, 2 wins 2 losses. One game the cpu destroyed me. 1 game I won a high scoring game. The next 2 games were just fantastic games, 5-4 loss and a 3-2 win, with traffic on the bases just enough to keep me on the edge of my seat.

Using SDS as well. I like to see the CPU competitive and having to pitch around. The only little thing, at least to my taste, is I’m seeing a lot of balls hit square.

Is dropping CPU solid hits to 3 would compromise the sliders balance ?

Yeah, I would do that. Or lowering timing could get them less perfect perfect swings.
