Is anybody else having an incredibly hard time with these sliders? Through 8 games in my franchise, I can’t register more than 4 hits and I’m giving up run after run because my pitchers are really inaccurate. I’m a patient hitter and can go deep in counts but I have a hard time registering good timing. Pitching is also hard because I can’t locate pitches to save my life. No slider set has given me a run like this one and I’m not having much fun.Currently playing:

for pitching, you can lower cpu contact to maybe 8. That might help control their offense a little more.Follow me on Twitch

I tried playing on default sliders and with other sets and I’m producing much better on offence, so I’m not convinced it’s a slump. I’ll try your suggestions and report back. Thanks for being so prompt in your response!Currently playing:

I've learned a lot from this years game. I think THEY have too, but it'll get addressed in next year's edition. Sliders are and were very difficult this year because I don't even know if anyone played or tested a full 162 playthrough. I'm not taking a shot by no means but ebbs and flows are a bit overdone in my opinion. It's really hard to pinpoint a fix for anything because it depends on where you are in your season or career. Player development increasing stats with 10% increase or decrease in sliders makes it difficult depending on what you want to see. I do like that the sliders work and the game itself is not broken.

Sorry for infiltrating your thread, but I've been wanting to say something for a bit. EA kinda rubbed me the wrong way with college football.

Yeah, it would be truly hard to get a perfect slider set. I’m about to play game 162 in my Dodgers franchise but I have played a couple different versions of these sliders.Follow me on Twitch

hey Houston, nice to hear from you. We have a great group of guys in here that all try to help each other out.
we have tried the lower human control and consistency to try to make our pitches have less control and get more walks. But it seems to make the CPU swing and chase more for some reason. Which raises their strikeouts and results in less offense. But control at 4 probably wouldn’t be too bad and not much difference. For the season, my Dodgers are 66% strikes ad 66% first pitch strikes. Probably a little high for first pitch strikes.
I used nomo17k sliders but he disappeared since 2018 I still use a version but feel there maybe outdated now still feel they play fine, but games drastically changed since then.
Even though nomo17k was for only CPU VS CPU I still used them for head 2 head we dont play the CPU and have had great success.
I'm curious to maybe start using your set so since u have played a full 162 on your sets and versions could you tell me if u had to play or suggest could u please recommend slider numbers I prefer global sliders but doesn't matter as we don't play CPU it's all human stats.
I'm considering plugging in all your human side numbers and trying them out. Or who using what u have for CPU be to high?
One of the biggest issues is lately pitches have sailed way out of targets intended area on a high rate we use classic pitching and know how it works used it for about 15 years. One hand want realistic strike % then again pitch accuracy gets bad since patch 25.
I'm gonna plug your OP sliders in a test league and see what we get.
Thanks budYoutube: https://youtube.com/@mlbnetworkleagu..._hz5M86fl-FbW4

for hitting, I’m personally using 6/4/5/3/3 for my hitting. But with hitting, it really depends on how everyone can read and see the pitches.
I am trying User Pitcher Control at 4 to get the pitchers for wilf to get more walks.
I played most of the year with control and consistency at 5. My strike percentage was 66%. The mlb average is 65% I think. But my first pitch strike percentage was 66% and mlb average is 57%.Follow me on Twitch

Hey there, thanks for the kind words. For global sliders, I am using what is on the OP. I am using the Fidelity Rosters so I don’t know if it makes a difference but I’m considering lowering reaction. His roster I believe has some players have higher reaction ratings than the live rosters.
