And if that feels too easy up it one more level.

Also, if you have trouble scoring runs you might want to be a little more patient and take more pitches, because when I get very impatient and I was lucky to score 1 or 2 runs, but if I'm patient I can score more runs. I'm not sure if that's your problem or not but just going by personal experience.

Yeah, it was my first game so I was just up there hacking.

I'll give that a try, thanks!

Oh, one more...when piching on expert mode, can you control the velocity of the pitch at all? or is it just random?

Just keep tapping the pitch button, but if you go too far he wont throw it as hard I noticed. I also heard the new game has a new pitching system which I haven't tried yet because I haven't been able to find the game so the new pitching system might have something to do with it.

Before anyone starts editing rosters it's still a little tricky I think.

Let me know if I am missing something or if there is an easier way.

        EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT:
AAAAHHHH Nice work! I made my changes for the lineup for BMORE noticed I needed to change Millar's name,,,changed it in MY DATA, thought I'd have to do all my lineup changes again but as I brought up the other teams, the original BMORE team was all greyed out EXCEPT for Millar's name I changed and I was able to swap him out for G.JOHNSON. Nice!!!!!

I've noticed with expert pitching if you just tap the button to start the wind-up and then press again when the accuracy meter reaches your desired effect the pitch is a lot slower.

Last night if I just tapped the button to begin the wind-up Johan Santana would throw 89 - 91. If I held the button down until the accuracy meter appeared and let go and then pressed again when the meter got closer to being completely accurate he was hitting 95.

On expert pitching if you hold the button down you'll notice that the pitch point market spins very fast. Spin it until it stops for the hardest possible throw. Even then there's some velocity fluxuation. It's different than the normal pitching (or whatever it's called) where you need to tap the pitch button very fast to spin the pitch point cursor. I think expert is pretty much the only way to go for pitching control unless you're a stickler for pain.

I didn't even notice the spin to be honest, but now that I think about it you are right. You do have to press it again when the accuracy meter expands and retracts though for better accuracy, otherwise you will be serving up meatballs down the middle. It's pretty challenging which is a good thing.

First time Power Pros player and am reading through the manual at work before I try this bad boy out at home tonight. The manual is actually pretty thorough but a little intimidating. I was amazed when I see cartoon characters on the cover and a Bible for a manual......I'm truly somewhat lost after reading through the manual in terms of editing rosters, etc.......

I'm dragging out my alltimers rosters from the High Heat 2002 PC days to give me a start. I already had career averages in there for stats, as well as lineups and uniform numbers. This will make my job a lot easier.

I've also started coming up with a method to figure out the PP ratings based on the players MLB stats. Here is what I have so far:

Trajectory (1-4) – Based on Home Runs per 600 AB
                    4 – 31 and up
                    3 – 18 to 30
                    2 – 11 to 17
                    1 – 10 and lower

Contact (range 1-15) – Based on BA
                    15 – not used
                    14 - .320 and up
                    13 - .310 to .320
                    12 - .300 to .309
                    11 - .290
                    10 - .282
                    09 - .275
                    08 - .267
                    07 - .260
                    06 - .252
                    05 - .245
                    04 - .240 and lower

Power (range 1-255) – Based on Slugging Pct.
Slugging Pct. / 3.5 = Power This will yield ratings between 210 and 80

Run Speed (range 1-15) – Based on Run Rating
                    15 – not used
                    14 – 10
                    13 - 9
                    12 - 8
                    11 –7
                    10 - 6
                    09 - 5
                    08 - 4
                    07 - 3
                    06 - 2
                    05 – 0 - 1

If anyone has any suggestions on how to make these more accurate, let me know. I'm sure this is going to take a while to complete, but I think it will be worth it.
I want to comment on this. No one on the 07 version except people with 0 homeruns had 1 trajectory and I have never hit a homerun with someone with 1 trajectory, so if someone has hit a homerun they deserve 2 trajectory in my opinion.

Unfortionitely it's not possible, you have to make him through success mode and that can take extensive saving and reloading. So there is no create a player option, you have to make them through success mode
