Or do what I did this weekend and pick up a used Wavebird! Why did Nintendo stop making this thing? It's such a great feeling controller. It's just like the regular GC one which I already loved but without the cord and with some added heft. And it remains balanced too. What a great piece of hardware. I just with they'd made it in orange. Ol' trusty rusty* is going to be collecting some dusty. =\

I'm gonna check it out. Got it reserved. I'm extremely disapointed the they've completely stripped down the DS version. I've been playing this imported for years and the portable version always had success and season mode included.

No season mode means no purchase for me. What a shame. If it was $20 I might give it a look because playing playoffs would be cool on the go. But $30-35? No thanks.


Hey, can someone break down the whole PRACTICE stuff for me. I try to go onto the practice option during my season but can't figure out what the hell I'm doing. I would alos like to find out how to make my players happy. Some of their faces look sad or pissed (smiley icons).

That sucks. I went to get it today but my lame gamestop didn't have it. Instead they gave me a "new" copy of the PS2 version, with no shrink wrap, the display case, and a disc copy from a drawer. Screw that.

Also i'm sure this has been asked before, but you can only practice in the off season in MLB Life mode, right?

I hear you about the 'new' unwrapped game, but you should seriously just get the PS2 version. It's $20 cheaper and identical.

Nope.

I don't know if you will ever see roster updates on any Wii game.

if you don't make the all star team, you instead practice for the first two days of the all star break. works identically to the spring training practices.

I saw something cool the otehr day. A player on the CPU team (can't remember who at the moment) got a hit and a screen popped up saying "(So and So) just got his 1500th career hit". Pretty sweet.
