It was named Ken_Griffey. I switched it to Ken_Griffey_Jr and it worked that way. Thanks!

thinking about getting this but quick question. Do ihave to download rosters for each era, or do they already come with the game itself?

I'm a sim nut, but always was a championship manager sim player. Baseball is a passion though, so its only natural to finally get into this game, but i'll admit, im lazy. I see the logos aren't the correct ones.

This game doesn't have the mlb licensing?

You can download Team Logos and Player Picture packs from within the game itself by going to Add-On Central in the Preferences Menu.

It's quite simple really. I just didn't do it with OOTP 10 yet.

Also the game ships with the Lahman Database, which includes rosters from 1901(I think) to 2008. You can play historical seasons using this database, and even have players retire according to history. Heck, the league will even expand at appropriate times if you check the right box.

It's really deep, but generally simple to use

okay, so is this game out yet for those who pre-ordered?
i pre-ordered just now, got my code, and it gives a link to go if i haven't downloaded the game yet (which i haven't)

there...and when i enter the code it just takes me to the next screen which is for buying the game. Nothing to download pops up.


am i either doing something wrong or is this game not out yet to the public? Seems like it is though?

I'm glad I pre-ordered to save $10, but getting the game 2 days early really isn't any good IMO if you like to play MLB style sims. We don't have a lot of updated mods yet. I don't think the OOTP9 stadium/fields mods work in OOTP10 yet, and I haven't seen a new set of logos, uniforms, etc announced yet by the modders.

So far I have the picture pack for players and staff installed and that's about it. I won't really start until I can get the game fully modded and probably until some of the roster issues are ironed out as well. Seems to be a very solid stable release, just some naggling issues to iron out.

I'm optimistic about getting started within a couple weeks.

I agree that the game doesn't reach it's full potential until a few weeks after release when the mods are released and online leagues are started...but I still wish I would have pre-ordered just so I could be playing around with it right now
