I don't think this has been mentioned before but do you guys like the Alphabetical ratings? I'd rather have Numerical ratings and a bit more areas in which to rate a in player in. The line between A and B is so arbitrary, however, the line between a player that rates 95 in hitting and 80 in hitting is clear and defineable.

Almost forgot about that. Yes, I'd much rather see numeric ratings instead of alphabetical ratings. The alphabetical ratings always make me feel like the game is more "childish". Numeric would also give a greater variation between players...Comment

Re: ASB: some ideas to make the best franchise even better
I'd also like to see numerical ratings, one reason for this is there are varying levels in alpha ratings.
There could be a player with a high B (great fielder/hitter) and a guy with a low B (pretty good fielder/pretty good hitter)

Re: ASB: some ideas to make the best franchise even better
I wish they would bring fielding stats back like the N64 version, where you saw errors and fielding %. Same with catchers caught stealing %.
Lefty/Righty splits would help a lot, for pitchers and hitters. I don't think there were any foul balls with zone hitting, but since this is becoming their default, hopefully that should be fixed.
I hate it when someone makes an error and no one but him will chase the ball.
