    Re: MS gets 3DO

NYRangers1, explain to me how High Heat 2004's gameplay is worse than High Heat 2003's. In WSB2k3, it's way to easy to hit your spot when pitching. In High Heat, it's mostly depended on how good the pitcher is.

To get off the subject of gameplay, WSB2k3's hitting animations are a sick joke played on us by Sega. I can't wait for FatPitcher to come back so I can ask how Sega allowed that **** into the released version.

Wow, nearly took the words out of my mouth. I had the PS2 version of WSB and the hitting animations were terrible. My friend claims the XBOX animations are better, but he doesn't know much about baseball.

WSB was just too easy for me. I adjusted sliders and tried everything that was on the web (slider suggestions that is), yet I was still able to strike out 16+ with the Pirates pitching staff - which we all know isn't real good. This is with the pitching aids turned off. Even Veteran Level with default sliders for that level didn't help much. Still had Kip Wells strikeout 14 players...

HH2004 was much better than 2003. The animations were much better, but the graphics weren't up to par with other games - still better than 2003 and previous years. If you liked 2003 I don't know how you didn't like 2004. The gameplay was IDENTICAL and it added franchise and better animations. HH2004 played a very solid game of baseball - the best on the market for that matter. It didn't have all the fancy features of ASB or WSB, but it played a lot better on the field.

Oh yeah, NYRangers1......settle down. We all have our opinions on what game we liked better. If someone feels HH plays a better game than WSB then it does, TO THEM. Not everyone always agrees with that opinion, but that's what an opinion is.

I think Inside Pitch is done. High Heat will come out, but probally will come out a little later, hopefully not as late as IP2003 did though.
