I'm going to agree with the poster above on ASB 2004. The features are unsurpassed, it looks great on the Xbox, and I really, really like the gameplay, despite all the knocks it's taken from reviewers. It has take-out slides, past balls, appeals to the line umps, outfielders with good arms (unlike WSB), create-a-team, and a bunch of different configurations for hitting, none of which require endless hours tampering with sliders to achieve a realistic effect. I've owned MVP, High Heat, and WSB as well, and eventually let go of both High Heat and WSB. MVP is extremely fun, but you have to learn to live with a certain lack of depth, as well as numerous runs that shouldn't have scored due to the terrible tagging AI/animations. ASB has been the most rewarding, by far.

From experience ASb 2004 is good and all but do you think the player models look kind of out of porportional ( like most of the player that supposed to be skinny are chuby and etc) and dont have realistic swings, batting stances, or pitching stance

Definately Inside Pitch (just kidding). I played all the baseball games this year and my personal favorite is MVP.

Hey, don't knock Inside Pitch, I've had some good times online with that little game.

XTREMEGAMER, I honestly think that of all this year's titles, ASB 2004 looks the most like a real-life baseball game, and that includes player models, animations, etc. MVP is also an amazing looking baseball game, but it seems to have a slightly more stylized approach.

ASB, easily, in my eyes.

Of course, this is the only forum where I'd announce that. Every other gaming forum where this question is asked, it's always a lot of 2k3 owners, debating with some MVP and High Heat owners, with ASB never even mentioned. Truly baffling to me.
