Is anybody else having problems with NCSX?

I preodered PYS 2011 from them and when I check the pre order website my order still says order received. I have yet to get any email conformation from them.

I pre-ordered from NCSX but did so at nearly the last minute on March 31st. I received an email yesterday from them that said they had not received their full shipment and mine would not ship out until next week when they received the rest of the shipment.

I took this as possibly the game is more popular than they had anticipated and they just didn't order enough copies. Not a problem with me, I'll just read you guy's impressions!

I did get an email though, not sure why you didn't. Maybe just call them and check.

Last year both NCSX and PlayAsia sent their copies out in phases. I had to wait 1.5 weeks for mine to ship so I learned my lesson. This year I pre-ordered early and it's in the mail now.

playing my psp version, menus a little different but the game plays good. Waiting on my ps3 version to arrive.

Hey guys I got the PS3 version yesterday. good news is most of the menus and options are the same as last year so we won't have to do too much work to update our website, and for things that have changed, we will try to put them up ASAP. i posted a bunch of impression over at my sites forum so if u r interesting come take a look.

I just received both copies (PS3 & PSP) of PYS 2011.....but I have no system to play them

I didn't know it was going to cause so much suffering.....It's like having Natalie Portman readily available....only to find out she has a chastity belt on and no key to unlock it.....

The mailman delivered my copy today (could have hugged him), and after playing a few exhibition games, it feels very familiar, but that is in no way a bad thing. Graphics, on the other hand, are much improved. Everything just has a sharper feel, and there are some nice new animations. There aren't a ton of new animations, but what they've added really improves the game, especially fielding, as you can now make better diving catches.

Trophies are also easier to come by, at least the bronze ones. Not that I have any idea what the trophies are, but I've already gotten 3 of them. I don't think I got a single trophy in 2010.

Overall, I couldn't be happier. The gameplay is as great as ever. Konami didn't try to fix anything that didn't need fixing, but everything feels just a little bit tighter, and as I said, it looks much nicer than last year's game.

Thank you very much for the impressions! I'm looking forward to the new animations everyone is talkin' about.

As for the trophies, I saw that there are a handful of "firsts", like first hit, stolen base, home run, win online, etc.... Should be fun to grab.

Exactly how it should be done: nail gameplay first then build around it. I got my copy today and the game is still awesome but looks better than ever. And the attention to detail - like the fans in the stands look great, most games are content to just put horrific looking stick figures.

+ Graphics much improved
+ More animations
+ Improved presentation
+ Improved Pennant mode (20 years now with Free Agents)
+ Improved training system

- Still no advanced replay system. You can see replays by holding select right after a play but you cant customize or record anything.
- C'mon Konami, your PES Soccer is in like 12 different languages. How about at least putting some 'Ingles in this baby?
Still trying to figure out what they changed with gameplay, but for sure it's not any worse than last year.

And it should be noted that PYS 2010 was a bug free game and this year it looks no different. There's no "Thank God they fixed this, or "Golly, I hope they fix that." And no slider hell either, how refreshing. Just set all difficulties to Middle, make an adjustment or two then you're done.

You know when I was a kid I played marble baseball. Put 11 marbles in a jar - 3 red and 8 blue. If you draw a red one it's a base hit. And you can really pimp it out, like good hitters you remove a blue marble and you can have other marbles that signify walks and extra base hits. Back to the active imagination zone for you

Swaldo that actually sounds like a lot of fun. I can imagine building an entire board game using baseball trading cards and your marble baseball system.
