I forgot to mention - I think the audio options are also in the Utility Menu so you can adjust them permanently (so you wont have to do it each time during a game.)

Tempted to get and try this out but so many things are fighting against me on this one. Maybe I'll just get rosetta stone and learn Japanese. That'll cure 2-3 of my problems

you really won't need RS.....with muka's site and all the guys on this forums helping you out you should be good....and if you're just a casual gamer.... it's baseball......and lots of fun too....a GREAT (the best) baseball game that is BUG free and controls ridiculously intuitive you will wish other games (the show, 2k11) would take a page out of Konami's book on "how to make a great baseb all game" manual....lol

I'll probably pick it up when I can find it for a little cheaper than its going now. Not that I can't afford it but I still just have a hard time paying full price for games (and even more for an import) unless its something I've been waiting for (MLB 11). After I try this it may very well be one of those games though.

I've got a backlog of games to get through before I allow myself to buy any more anyway so maybe the price will be down by then. Do they tend to leave their online servers on better than MLB? I'm a trophy hunter and while I don't need them on all games, for some reason I'm OCD for getting them all on my baseball games.

Bah, why did I have to see someone post about this and watch the video to make me want it...

You'll be waiting a long time. Last years version has dropped a whole $5 on Play-Asia and PYS 5 (from 4 years back?) is down $10. You might find some Korean versions on ebay for a little cheaper but how legit are they? If you want the JPN version from an official dealer the prices just dont go down. And they will be out of stock soon, Play-Asia was sold out of 2010 for months.

You're best bet is finding a used 2010 version on ebay, but 2011 is better so what to do? I dont think anyone will be selling '11 for awhile because it's a keeper. It's not like US games which drop 50% in price after a month and 80% trade it in or put it up on ebay within 30 days.

After looking over Muka's site the last couple of days I really feel like I have a clue on how to play this game and will be just fine even though I don't know a lick of Japanese.

Yea its simple. It's all about learning how to navigate through menus and view player ratings. Once you understand that you're playing baseball! You dont have to know Japanese to hit a ball.

Man, just like swaldo said .....you'll be waiting a long time....and I can say there is a very good chance that you end up like most of us who have played PYS and make it an annual purchase.....for me it's certainly the game to get every year and I still own every copy I ever bought....it's like this....if I only had money to buy 1 game every year...this ones it! over any other game especially sports games.....fortunately I can afford many other games....but I pre-order this game as soon as its available....MLB the show? I wait for demo to check if I like it and pick up at store after realease..same goes for MLB2k....would i like for konami to make an MLB version of this game?...........of course....but even then I would still get this game because I follow NPB as much as MLB......as for language....I don't care if it's in ET language...I will "be good" and "go home" to play it cause it's baseball and I will eventually figure it out

I wonder if Playasia charges your card when you order or when it ships. Because their site says it won't ship until 1 week. I want to order this game now but won't have the funds for a few days. I don't want to miss out on ordering and have them totally sell out and then have to wait months to get it.

I'm not sure about Play-asia, but I know that NCSX doesn't charge your card until they ship the game, and they are also currently saying that they will be re-stocking PYS 2011 in about a week. If you live in the U.S., you're better off going with NCSX. They are based out of New Jersey, so you will pay less for shipping, and you'll get the game faster once it ships. I pre-ordered from them, and they shipped the game out to me on Thursday the 14th and I had it in my hands that Saturday.
