Re: Questions for ASB Art

also i asked asb_man this question but it never got answered:

ASB_art, I was looking at the screens gamespot posted (12/11) and one picture showed the behind-the-pitcher camera. But, the camera was angled from the left of the pitcher. We all know that on TV, the camera is angled from the right of the pitcher. Is this how its gonna be, or can we change it, or what?

Its angled dependent upon the matchup...righties get the pitcher on the left...vice versa for lefties.

Still points...cant use money

Player ratings use a little of both...spring training uses number values to improve your player but there are letter grades as well.

ASB Art, thanks so much for answering our questions! As a lowly Brewer fan, I have two questions:

1. Does Bernie slide down his slide on a Brewer HR?
2. Is the Sausage Race in the game?

no sausage race, sorry. We tried and we talked about it, we even tried to slide randall simon in there somewhere too.

1.) I know in the other Q&A thread, Tom said that a minor leaguer had to play atleast one major league inning to get in the game. Will players such as Wilson Betemit for the Atlanta Braves be included? He had three at bats in 2001 and will likely be thrown into the mix at 3B this year.

2.) Will all minor leaguers who have played atleast one major league inning be included in the game?

3.) I haven't played ASB since 2003, but I've heard when you create a player you can't edit their age. Is this true for the upcoming version?

4.) How will ASB handle players such as Adam LaRoche who will probably get the 1B job for Atlanta? He hasn't been in the majors yet, so will he be included with a fake name or in the 'opening day' roster update?

any guys we cant get in on the rosters because of the MLBPA will most likely be taken care of on the first roster download.

Will we be able to turn off the pitch preview icon? This would make zone batting very nice.
