You dont know that. One thing that is certain is that if they would just take it out THEN it would be a nonissue.

BTW-- Whats with the ASB gestapo? This is at least the third version where it does this but no one is allowed to be critical? If people dont give honest feedback and concerns then how does that help improve the video games. Also, whether or not it is minor is subjective.

                        Re: Squat Stance for OFs

                        alright....let me explain the squat.

since 2002 we've been adding motions to the game and when we originally designed the game, most motions were to end in a "generic" fielder ready position. This fielder ready position is for motions to blend into. It resembles a squat but it is a vey important motion for us so that players transition smoothly. The squat is getting annoying but it is unfortunately not an easy motion to do away with, because a lot of other animations depend on it. The squat will be taken out when we have the budget to reshoot all the fielder motions. We understand the ugliness of the squat and we've done our best to get it out of a lot of the situations you see most often, but it is going to happen. If we didnt have the squat a lot of animations would pop and would look uglier than the squat.

So that is the story of the squat. Hope it helps explain things and doesnt deter you from enjoying asb05 and fielder cam and all the other cool new things in 05.

Baseball is probably my favorite sport. I play it, buy more games, and watch more of it than all the other sports combined. But I never even noticed the crouch until people mentioned it. Who cares? Maybe it's me, but if a ball is hit to the shortstop, I watch the shortstop. I don't watch watch how the right fielder is standing during the play.
