<hr /></blockquote>I think the difference is, in MVP the homerun happens so quick and they cut away to the the player rounding the bases at like 2nd base. In ASB, they show the ball landing and only show the player rounding 3rd which gives you a longer look at the homerun cutscene.

I dont know why, but collision detection on the HRs means alot to me.
ASB-The best collision detection be far. The ONLY reason why I kept the game last year.
MVP-I think its in there, but only can be viewed on replays. Ex. The Guillen homerun. On the replay you can just see the ball bounce up over the fence in the bullpen.
ESPN. Fatpitcher confirmed it was in there this year. Which is awesome. But the game didnt really improve the swings, or the way the ball travels in the air.
MLB 2005. Boy I hope this game has collision detection. So far MLB looks like the most realistic playing game.
Slugfest. Havent heard much about this game. I`ll be happy to see some videos, if anyone has some.

Have you seen the video with A-Rod(MVP)? Collision detection is certainly there on the blast to Center.

Can't speak for any other video though.... the quality is too low to be able to properly tell anything...
