I love the collision detection in ASB, I agree that the other games cut away too early.

Have you seen the video with A-Rod(MVP)? Collision detection is certainly there on the blast to Center.

I've seen all of the MVP videos that are available online for free. On every single HR - all of them - the ball disappears in midair directly where it crosses over the wall.

Again, the length of the HR "cutscene" has nothing to do with it. MVP's cutscenes look about as good as ASB's. The problem is that the ball just disappears in midair in the other games.

No, I'm positive. Others see it as well.... again, the quality on other clips does not allow you to see the ball land properly b/c MVP doesn not focus on it, while ASB does.

Cause I've watched every MVP movie at IGN (over 20 movies) plus the Next Level movies and the OS movies, and I haven't seen a single HR ball hit ANYTHING, even on replays.

Then you should look HERE again... the first video...

At about 3/4 of the way into the video, they show a shot by A-Rod to center that hits the "Orieon" sign. The ball does not disappear, it hits the sign and drops to the right. You do not see it bounce on the black seats in center however, b/c the camera cuts away just as you said.

So no, the ball does not disappear there, it hits off of the sign.

Again, it may seem that way in other videos but the quality of movies we've seen haven't been the best bitrate... as well as MVP's angles aren't the best to determine if it hits something properly.

It's definitely not up to par compared to ASB's coll. det., but from that video and the fact that it was in last year on certain items, it's in there.

Then you should look HERE again... the first video...
