I don't need to give it a chance, the game is just not cup of tee. Neither is ESPN. Not saying it is a bad game by any means, just does not offer what I want in a baseball game.

As for the video. I watched it frame by frame, and I think the argument can go either way until the day we are dead. Still does not look like it hits it to me, but who knows.

Can't argue with any of that.... although how can you claim a game isn't your "cup of tee" until you've tried it...? You're doing the same thing that a lot of "MVP-only fans" do when watching vids of ASB this year and saying it looks boring...

Can't argue with any of that.... although how can you claim a game isn't your "cup of tee" until you've tried it...? You're doing the same thing that a lot of "MVP-only fans" do when watching vids of ASB this year and saying it looks boring...

MVP does have some collision detection, but it is only in certain places.

Either way, ASB can't get here soon enough.

Well...for what it's worth Steve has confirmed collision D in MVP oer on the MVP Beta impressions thread, but it's just not great...in other words if you blink you'll miss it. In the last Triple play series,they did a fantastic job with Coll D.
i thought so anyway and why they toned it down is beyond me.
It's not game killer, and it's no big deal...to some it might be,but to me? no biggy

Well it's easy . I hated last years game. If the game was completely redone from scratch, then I would give it a shot. However, it is the same basic game it was last year. They tweaked the hitting and fixed a lot of the annoying bugs, but I just don't like how the game feels/plays. It's just my opinion. Same thing goes for ESPN. I could list everything I don't like about how those games play, but that won't help anyone, especially since it is all my personal preference. Has nothing to do with bugs. It has everything to do with the attention to detail ASB has.

I am looking forward to renting and playing all the games again this year. I just know a rental will be enough. Except maybe MLB, that is looking pretty tight as well.
