Bases Loaded and Baseball Stars...ahhh two timeless classics. I used to hit Paste and Fendy all the time when playing my friends b/c I knew they would rush the mound and get tossedBaseball Stars, excellent gameplay that to this day holds some ground as the best ever baseball gameplay in game!

Ahhh yes. Baseball stars and Bases Loaded. I had 3 pasges filled with codes for my season. It was always some big bruiser dude on each team who batted fourth and they always scared the piss out of me. Then again, I had one to. You really started getting familiar with your lineup and your players. What a great game Bases Loaded was. I even kept a stat sheet for my season. I still remember the music.
I dont have to much of a memory for Baseball Stars.

YEAH!!!! I did the same thing, too....would be up until 2AM playing games and writing stats as I went.

OMGI did the same thing recording stats on paper with bases loaded, that game rocked. This is a great thread, it brings back so many memories

Re: Remember the fights in Bases Loaded?
Here is an idea, and a question for you guys.
The idea, OS should start a sports game Hall Of Fame. It would have to be very selective. Maybe once or twice a year the editors of OS pick 5 to 10 games that we vote on, and only top two make it into the hall.
Now the question, if you could only pick one of the two games mentioned for the Hall, would it be BaseBall Stars or Bases Loaded?
Its a tough one for me, I loved both games, and spent way too many hours playing them. But if I had to choose I guess I would have to go with Bases Loaded. I remember daydreaming about the game while I worked my part-time job at McDonalds. I would literally think about the pitching mathcups with my Omaha team while I was frying burgers. And yes, I too had a notebook that I recorded all the stats in.
So, lets hear it. Who goes in the hall?Comment
