Re: Looks like ASB is delay till the end of March..

God I can only hope ASB_Man is busy at work putting this game to bed. Maybe they are finishing tonite and will announce that its finished? I really dunno. I hope so, I mean, March 23rd for the XBox is kinda late. I will be busy watching REAL baseball. Saturday Yankees play an exhibition game against Toronto and Vasquez is starting (oh god cant wait to see how he plays and I want to see A-Rod at third) but c'mon guys, finish it today so we can get it next Tues/Wednes. Please.

      I agree.

But if it's sitting in the back of the stores for two weeks collecting dust just so it can release the same date as the PS2 version... That would be PO worthy.

Plus the fact that I have next Wed. and Thurs. off.

The stores make a whole lot more money then the websites do, Im sure the game stores are the 1# supplier over the websites. So I would think there info is more up to date, I also know it is cause i have alot of freinds that work in the game stores and they know what there talking about so there

Think what you want and I'll know what I know.

I've experienced it firsthand, and you must not understand alot about the world if you think the stores know more than the website. More people own a PC and access the internet than go to said stores, you think there's a gaming store on every block in america or something? Some cities, let alone states, even NOWADAYS, are lucky to have one or two stores to go to. I know for damn sure where I'm living, Portland, there's about three for the entire city and surrounding areas. They can't supply as fast as websites can, and I'll bet you anything the sites sell much more than the stores do nowadays. There are still people out there in the middle of nowhere who game, but don't have the time to commute 3 hours to a frickin' store to get said games. Alot of people. As if this even mattered to the discussion at hand...what difference does it make if a store sells more or less than a website, how can you equate that selling video games equals better knowledge of release dates. Come the (BLEEP) on. Now maybe in YOUR area they know quite a bit about these situations, but speaking from experience, after having lived in about 20 different states, I can tell you that not all game stores are the same for knowledge, price, or any damn thing. Point is, Website is nation wide. There's only one of the website, and that makes it alot easier to handle. Not to mention that through the internet information is passed much quicker than any damn store could hope to recieve it. If they have information on release dates, they got it from the site. It's absolutely friggin' nuts to assume that an archaic form of market would recieve information quicker than the newest form of market which has been known for years now for sending information 20 times quicker. What exactly are you thinking??

For crying out loud, it's like saying 56k is better than Fiberoptics.

I've seen first hand in over 50 stores how differently they operate, but over-all the overwhelming lack of knowledge is what never changed. I'd go to the store and get them checking their computers which show week old info, saying "it's coming out next week"...hell once I went and it was already supposed to be out and they were like "It's coming out...2 days ago...wtf?" , so anyways, you might be lucky enough to live in one of the few areas where the stores know quite a bit, but everywhere I've been (mostly the western half of the US), they don't know jack. Updated info: Online. Obvious, man.
