im gald that someone wrote this.. being that this will be my very first yr that im going to be attempting this game. This part of the game being just one of the factors that im getting this game... def. Just wondering what skill level he was playing on to take a first yr franchise to the playoffs... and... how many games he actually played...

It's the nickname for injury-prone Phil Nevin.

Interesting read, for people that own last years game what was the best player available in the expansion draft? Was it the same exact players every draft?

Even if you get players like Ichiro available if you want it super realistic then I suggest you don't draft him then. That solves the problem

I'm looking foward to expansion mode the most, so I can build a team in Vancouver.

Last year there were no in game injuries, you only got injured through sims. As for your question Asian, the best player was almost always Andy Pettitte (IMO). After that it was like....Moises Alou...Steve Finley...Mike MacDougal....Aaron Sele...ect. It wasn't impossible or anything, but it was challenging. Good to see they made it more realistic. Ichiro pushes it just a bit, but it's not that unrealistic. You've got players on there that are older and getting injured more like Nevin, makes sense that the team would want to get rid of them. I usually go for young guys no matter what in my expansion draft, so I have a chance to build on something, create a phenom that nobody thought would be. Can't wait for '05 to see how much fun the improvements on Expansion really are!

Do you guys think maybe he did not put enough money into his medical budget, and that causes more injuries. That would be pretty cool .

Stoud, the injury thing is just in franchise I believe. I never saw an injury in a franchise game, but last night I was playing quick play game and a player had an injury in the game.

So two freak injuries diving for balls after changing positions makes him injury prone. Well, I have to agree with you, it's not because he wasn't injured in last year's game, but I think he got shafted in ASB with his stats, I mean, I simmed one season (the first season, don't know why, just felt like it) and he played 160 games, only 16 homers and .240 average. C'mon, the guy was out for a while and that automatically makes him mediocre. I don't think he'll have a third major injury, unless he wants to pull a Griffey.

He was awesome in ASB 2003, now what happened, all the glory is going to Klesko.
