It's the nickname for injury-prone Phil Nevin.

So two freak injuries diving for balls after changing positions makes him injury prone. Well, I have to agree with you, it's not because he wasn't injured in last year's game, but I think he got shafted in ASB with his stats, I mean, I simmed one season (the first season, don't know why, just felt like it) and he played 160 games, only 16 homers and .240 average. C'mon, the guy was out for a while and that automatically makes him mediocre. I don't think he'll have a third major injury, unless he wants to pull a Griffey.

He was awesome in ASB 2003, now what happened, all the glory is going to Klesko.

I love injuries in a game. It makes you have to manage your roster more and above all, just like in real life, it can make or break your team. Though I hate seeing my players get hurt for long durations, I seem to have more fun trying to keep the ship a float until they get back. After reading IGN's review of MVP 2004, I am very satisfied with my purchase of ASB 2005.

            WARNING, WARNING, WARNING.........!!!!

That was a really nice article but it sent off a huge concern that I have had all along. It also tells me instantly that the problem I was most concerned about still exist. And obviously it has not been fixed.

LACK OF OFFENSE AND LOW PITCHING ERA.....

            </font><blockquote><font class="small">Quote:</font><hr />
The Banditos are 10th in the National League in hitting and 10th in pitching headed into the All-Star Break, and the team is a little over .500 even though Urbina and Durham have also suffered serious injuries and I've had to call up some youngsters from AAA.

My team ERA is down to 2.43......

            <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

10’th in the league, An expansion team with an ERA of 2.43, using players out of the minors... WOW... A ERA team ave. for a tenth rated should be no lower than 3.95 and ave. about 4.+

I don't know about you, But if you don't see the problem with this, you certainly can't be too concerned with realistic baseball.

This was a huge problem for Manager type people last year and I really can't believe that Acclaim hasn't addressed this.

Now, I realize that I’m basing my opinion off of this latest article... But it sure does bring up a warning sign for me... I think I will now cancel my order until I read what other Manage mode players report...

The lack of offense and low pitch ERA's were a game killer for me last year and I don't want to waste money on the same problem.

God, I sure hope I'm wrong...

The whole sentance is "I continue to tear through September as my team ERA is down to 2.43 through the last 10 games"

I think what that means is his pitching has been very hot the past 10 games, and its team ERA during those 10 games is 2.43.

He team probably shows up on the "Who is Hot" list. Team ERA, 2.45 last 10 games.

I don't read it that way, but then I am probably looking at it through a skeptical point of view..

I really hope that you both are right, Those are the only issues I am really worried about in this game. Other than that, It was a great game last year.
