1. Deepest franchise mode w/ best GM AI of any game
2. Expansion mode.
3. Great baseball feel(love the way the pitchers wear jackets early/late in the year, the ivy at Wrigley changing, dressed stadiums for opening day and playoffs)
4. Working scoreboards for my game and out of town scores
5. True manage only mode(and the computer opposing manager makes pretty darn good moves..he will actually bring the closer in at the BEGINNING of the ninth )

My five reasons:

1) Expansion Mode/Create-A-Team Mode (I'll find out what the difference is between the two when it comes out).

2) Year-to-Year stat tracking + record keeping (I would have been pleased if MVP had it).

3) Spring Training Mode almost similar to Madden's Training Camp (except you earn points by reaching certain goals during games).

4) Side features i.e. TWIB Challenge, Home Run Derby, and um... forgot what is was called...

5) Because I'm familiar with the series.

Don't get me wrong, I looked into the other games what they had to offer, I was swayed by MVP and MLB (this one got me, until I found out it didn't have minors, and maybe the neat things like dropped third strike and um... I forgot what the other was called). ASB is in for another year.

Too bad I don't have the money some people here have to get two or three baseball games.
