Re: Official Wishlist for ASB 2006
I did not go through the entire list again...but PLEASE...the editor must be improved. You have to give the user the ability to edit EVERYTHING. It's a killer the way it is now. Also, please give the user the option of setting lineups and depth charts for other teams(without controlling them entirely) It's really annoying when the Rockies would put Larry Walker in the leadoff spot. If you could figure out how the CPU controls lineups(what it looks for) and then edit that attribute then it would not be so bad...but it is impossible to figure out.
Thanks

Re: Official Wishlist for ASB 2006
You absolutley must be able to make trades for regular exhibition play, and heres why. I made the Top 10 prospects for each team, and it was easier if I just created all of them instead of editing minor league players because it took to long to find a player with the right position and right batting side and throwing hand. Also sometimes, there were no players in the minor leagues who fit the prospect. Theres only 25 CAP spots available, so I had to start my franchise with those 25, then go into free agent and move them all to the right teams. So I start making all the other prospects and such, takes me awhile (probably about two weeks) and save my franchise. So I play a couple seasons, some of the prospects come up and such, but then, one day I turn it on to play again, but in place of where my franchise is suppose to be it says "Corrupted Data" which basically means I just wasted two weeks making all those prospects. If I was able to move the prospects around during non-franchise mode I would have been able to use them seperately and even if my franchise crapped the bed, I would still be able to just start another with the same prospects without spending another two weeks making them all over again. It really sucked when I tried it all again, but this time in Expansion mode, and the game froze while it was saving, so all those prospect were lost, once again. So basically I gave up on this game after that, because I don't have online play and I was very frustrated on having spent so much time making all these prospects when if we could just trade outside of season mode, it would be okay.
Also, another thing. You need to fix the draft. There are never any good pitchers (best only about C ratings), or good hitting middle infielders, catchers, or centerfielders. So basically ten years down the road, you have 4 corner outfielders playing the 3 outfield positions (because if you draft a B COF, he will have A speed, A Range, A throwing arm, and such) and DHing. There is no diversity in the draft.Comment

Re: Official Wishlist for ASB 2006
I really hope the game makes it b/c it is so close...Here is my list of things in no particular order.
1. Please keep the fielder cam and tweek the player animations in the field so they are more fluid and more responsive.
2. Zone hitting. I hate hitting with the cursor, but had to this year as the zone hitting yielded far to many HR's and hits up the middle.
3. A cursorless pitching system. Something to the affect of high heats where you had to hold the position.
4. Roster management..It has been expressed many times before me. Every other game this year allows for us to make roster changes before going into franchise. This really needs to be fixed. We were able to do it a few years ago, but it's been taken away from us.
5. Sliders...I have switched sides and now love sliders. Allowing someone to tweek a game is something that makes the product last longer. After mastering each level, sometimes the game becomes boring without a challenge.
That's really it b/c I really thought that the core gameplay was good and the franchise mode is outstanding. Thanks for a great game and I hope everything works out for next year.Formerly Favre4vrComment
