Re: Official Wishlist for ASB 2006

They need to properly test this game and take out all the little glitches and bugs. I've never seen so many in a game. Even the announcing has some real problems. A game yesterday the announcer talked about my batter being the "tenth man to come to the plate this inning" (he was the second). Said Bradley was "coming up for the second time in the inning". (he was the third batter). Just a bunch of sloppy development.

Good game, but no excuse for the sloppiness.

Re: Official Wishlist for ASB 2006

      I'd like to post one/some:

Home run celebrations for players need to be in cutscenes, I wouldn't mind having the 2004 cutscene back as an option (the one that showed the ball going out, then showing a replay of the guy creaming the ball).

Smart Counts, too many high pitch counts with it, I'd like to see more 1-0, 0-1, 1-1 counts from it as opposed to mostly 3-0, 3-1, 0-2, 1-2 counts.

I love it when they say my created player is second in the league in steals. After 20 games, he has none.

Jim; I totally agree. I still love this game...even with all the glitches, I find ASB to be the most enjoyable for me, but they MUST "tighten" this game up.

Another thing they have to do is make more things editable. Position, handedness, AGE...yes you can edit age, but the limit is forty years old..etc...it's very frustrating to not be able to edit a player completely

After 50+ games, I am really getting annoyed with CPU outfielders who have a ball hit over their head, and they wait and wait and wait and finally run back for an over the shoulder or diving catch. Hitting in this game is challenging enough, the added frustration is not necessary.

Here are my top ten in no particular order. Some have been mentioned before, some haven't:

                              1. Actually allow 40 men on the major league roster during spring training and after Sept 1.

                              2. Have the Canadian/Mexican Flag and anthem play in those parks when your expansion team is from that country.

                              3. Include a "create a stadium" feature like Madden 2004.

                              4. Include a Owner mode like MLB. Ensure it plays like Madden where guys can turn it on or off but the on the field play remains the same.

                              5. Include bogus players for ALL Non-MLB players, not just Bonds. Miller (As) and Millar (BOSox) are two examples--these guys are starters

                              6. Show some minor league stats. All the guys are D-; it would help to know who to bring up based upon who is doing well in the minors.

                              7. Go back to 2004's soundtrack; 2005's is better suited to a Britney Spears game.

                              8. Allow attendance to fluctuate based upon how the team is doing. This would be even more important once you add an owner's mode.

                              9. Allow roster edits before franchise that are used in franchise.

                              10. Make CPU outfielders react to a play...most of the time they wait for a few seconds then run over for the catch. Very unrealistic.
