Can CPU Score??

Last year, every game seemed to be a pitchers duel. How is it this year? Do people find the offense to be different using generated counts??

I don't use gen pitch counts, and I've had the comp hammer me. I was using the M's and Moyer was pitching a gem into the 8th but was running out of gas but I had a 6-1 lead so I kept him in there, the comp scored 5 runs on me in the top of the 8th.

There are 5 difficulty levels to choose from (Rookie, Veteran, All-Star, Hall of Fame, Legend). Most people here play All-Star or HOF. Very few consistently play with Legend. Although I'm only a first-year ASB player, I play on All-Star and currently hold a record of 0-9. I've played MANY baseball games in the past where I have dominated (especially WSB2k3) so ASB05 is frustrating but refreshing at the same time. Most of my losses have come in blowouts. I've seen pitcher duels as well as Extra-Inning games.

So to answer your question, yes the CPU can score.

THanks all! I just picked up the game (had it last year), and enjoy it already. Just wanted to clear up my only real gripe from last year.
