These forums are here to discuss the games. Not for the sole purpose of having fanboys lavish praise upon games they've not even played yet. Grow up already. If you can't handle the fact that some of us remain skeptical about a game that's not released yet and is getting middling reviews, too bad for you. Am I going to stop coming to a forum for a game I'm interested in just because fanboys flame anyone that doesn't say completely positive things about the game? Nope.

And yes, I disliked MLB2K5 greatly. It had too many issues that killed the game for me. I hung onto the game and continued to read the MLB forum in hopes these issues could somehow be taken care of with an option I missed or with sliders. None could. So I finally sold the game this weekend, and no longer frequent the MLB forum. I play games, the best ones I can find. I don't, however, play companies or a game series just because of it's moniker.

Its getting crazy here. The "reviewers" gave Gretzky a low score but it turned out to be a very fun game. Im not a fanboy at all. I prefer NHL 2K. Im just saying dont listen to reviews and review the game by playing it yourself. Anybody can write a review. Its just that guys opinion. He doesnt speak for us. We make our own decisions.

Always good advice. I do use early reviews as a guide of whether or not to buy a game blindly or to simply rent it. Reviews are never the deciding factor of whether or not I play a game, though.
