Meh...if EA gets alot of slack for its Madden series, the MLB series deserves the same. They brought this upon themsevles by releasing 3 POS games in 2 years. The skeptisism is warranted.

Im not saying dont be a skeptic,or upset. hell i am one too, most people here would tell you im the biggest critic of EVERY game we make.

I guess what im trying to say is try to calm down the blasting of people, It makes it seem like your saying guys arent doing there job, when i can assure you its quite the opposite. Now to say if focus should be shifted somewhere else, thats an entirely different debate... A debate where im most definatly leading the charge.

Trust me im not the enemy in anyway i want the best game like everyone else, i get mad and scream and shout like everyone else does too, im not making excuses beleive me, and i dont want yall to think i am.

Well, until they start adding hit charts (which were in MVP) and fly ball to ground ball ratings, and RISP ratings, and pitcher’s pickoff ratings and such, I’m not entirely sure MLB could ever be mistaken for a sim baseball game.

Or double switches that work, or tons of pitchers who don't throw 103 mph FB's, or 3B guys who charge rollers...

correct...but MVP had some serious issues in its first 2 years of life

like

no fielder control (year 1)
piss poor bullpen management AI
no player edits (year 1)
crude player ratings
no pop from LHH's


KUSH has lots to do but this is only their 2nd year with the game

Well, baseball's maybe the one sport the older crowd is able to still actually play without being (too) pathetically awful at it. Standing in LF waiting for fly balls is an ageless skill/takes next-to-no skill whatsoever.

There’s a big difference between programming a CPU pitcher to throw 60% fastballs / 30% curveballs / 10% changeups, and programming a CPU pitcher to throw the right pitches in the right counts and situations. Judging from their programming efforts last year, I have a difficult time believing they’ve had the time – let alone have the programming ability and baseball knowledge – to program this feature in such a way that it’s going to make any real and effective “sim” difference in the game play.

I'll just follow-up and assume that this will be as good with tendencies as NBA 2K6 was. Remember, part of VC stepped in for this game... it seems like this is, yet again, one of their features and implementations brought over from their side.

Oh okay... I didn't realize VC was directly involved with that, so maybe there's hope it'll have some real substance to it.
