Pose that question to those who vote on the Cy Young winners and you'll get your answer, loud and clear

They're giving Smoltz the benefit of the doubt in the same way umps gave him, Glavine and Maddox a 30-inch wide strikezone throughout their careers in Atlanta... expecially "8 inches off the corner, but still IN THERE" Glavine.

Ain't that the truth. Interesting ratings for sure. I like that some pitchers have high stamina. The pitch counts this game can produce seem the most realistic.

          Re: MLB 2K6: (Player Faces) @ JKidd10

HELLO! And some folks griped and complained about the faces in MVP 2005?!?!? Let's be real...with the exception in most cases, of the what I call "A-List" players, it (realistic faces) ain't gonna happen. Not to mention other reasons such as the cost involved to scan each and every player that matters on all MLB and/or minor league rosters......

          peace!

I think this is pretty much the case but it'd be more understandable if it was LAST year. I mean couldn't they have made the adjustment after seeing his performance as a starter last year?

No Millwood, I am a little surprised by that.

Wins and losses have nothing to do with the ability of pitchers. They can't control what the offense does. ERA, K/9 and WHIP are much better indicators of a pitchers ability. Heck, Jimmy Haynes won 16 games once for the Reds and he is a terrible pitcher. Eric Milton also says hello.

Are you saying too high or too low? His numbers last year were PHENOMENAL(insert 12 exclamation points here).

Not deemed worthy enough, unfortunately. I already have him marked down as possibly be NL Comeback Pitcher of the Year this year.
