I think he is not the same. Because of injuries we will see this year. If he is healthy and his fastball is back he will be back on top.

I think his stats over the past 4 1/2 seasons since joining San Fransico would probably hold up to justify putting him in the top 25 starters in baseball. There are other odd rankings, that was just one that popped in my head that did wasn't already mentioned.

I agree, but it is all about what they are doing now. I don't agree with it. I think when Jason is on he is the best.

vasquez and beckett are definitely way overrated. Vasquez sucked last year and beckett is good but not top 25. hopefully whoever makes a roster edit will do a good job to correct these terrible mistakes.

btw, who the hell is felix hernandez or whatever that guy is on the Mariners. I cant believe I've never heard of him.

He's a 19 year old stud-*** muffin. If he stays consistent with his stuff, he'll be of the best that's ever pitched.

He is just that Blzer. 2006 MLB fantasy guides are calling him the next Doc Gooden....without the snow on the nose. I don't know how they came up with most of these ratings but I don't know why they can't just pick up any preseason fantasy baseball rankings and go from there instead of pulling numbers out of thin air. There isn't a fantasy site on this planet that has Smoltz at #2 and the reigning Cy Young winner in Colon at #18. Do these guys even know who these players are?

How do you rank Bartolo Colon who happened to win the AL Cy Young award #18?

I agree his earned run average isn't the greatest, but he wins games.

You can tell these rankings are way off when you have Javier Vazquez in the top 25 starting pitchers in the majors.

We will just have to edit players if we don't care for their ratings.
