Just letting you guys know that the franchise video on the mlb2k6 website is for the 360. Look at all the gameplay shots and you will see that they are not current gen. Sad thing is that the batting and pitching animations showed do not look to promising.

Yep you are correct. Part of that video is footage from the Xbox 360. I don't know what to say. I really like the cloth movement on the jerseys. The swinging animations look good.

That looks like the current-gen version, not the 360 version. Regardless, it's been made very clear the 360 version won't have animation and game play upgrades -- just some graphical stuff. Hard to understand how anyone could be disappointed at this point, if they've been reading the developer's interviews over the past couple of months. They even specifically said they wouldn't be working on pitching animations until 2K7.

Yes, that doesn't look like the xbox version, but the 360. I liked the Jeter thing and the look of the stadium. It looks like it might take another year of work to fully get rid of the animations, but this looks promising.

edit: well looking at it again, the first part is the xbox, the Jeter thing is the 360?

the colors seem to be more muted.....more like...MVP.. than the current gen bright cartoony look

Yah, just watch closely at the cloth movement on the jerseys, you can tell where the 360 stuff is. I should say this, the graphics are better (and the animations do appear to be the same, just more fluid, ala NBA 2K6 on 360), but you can still tell they are from a similar build as the current gen ones.

Not much to see gameplaywise but IMO it looks pretty good. I'm sure it will look good on the 360, they've demonstrated that they're capable of it with NBA 2k6, the question just remains the gameplay. I do like the way the cloth moves though, pretty nifty.

90% of that video looked current gen. The final batter swinging with the blurred background looked 360 along with the fireworks going off. IMO it didnt look too bad, the BTP cam shot looked good, the pitcher and batter both had good movement. The shot before that, behind the batter - looked stiff. All the cutscenes looked good, does one company do the cutscenes and a different one the animations?

I did like the trade finder, thought that was a good idea.
