After watching the videos again, the batters seem to have the same height and weight. Look at Ramirez for example, like some people here have noted. Couldn't they have added some more player models, and added weight and height to the players??

Like I said a page ago:

It's strange... they have Player Height, and individual body parts can increase or decrease. But, if you try and change the weight, they won't get any fatter or skinnier. I think they really need this part of it. Then the individual parts could be for bulkiness or just skin and bone/flab or whatever.

I think that most of their resources with developers and such was spent on building the 360 version.

LOL, now you "think" most of the resources were spent on the 360. Before you were convincing us you knew it as fact.

I was saying that it is a fact that nearly 100% of their resources with developers was spent on MLB 2K6 (in general) over MLB 2K5: WSE.

Just saw the videos and I'm not impressed. Not saying the game is going to be bad, but it doesn't look like it's worth $60 to me. I, too, was looking for that 'wow' factor, and it just isn't there this time. I'm still interested in the impressions, but unless they are very positive across the board, I'll be saving the money.

IMO it dosent look much different from Xbox. The pitching motions are still very jerky and slow

IMO it looks like total crap for 360. I get more angry about exclusive liscenses every time I read something about Madden and/or MLB 2K. Why couldn't the exclusive deals gone to the good games!? We lost NFL 2K and MVP, go figure! Oh well, I don't mean to beat a dead horse but anyone who ever said exclusive deals was better for the gamer was on crack. Thank God EA is doing a college game at least.

Anyone Else Horrified at the Homerun Swings and replays!?!?!? I mean thats 60% of the excitement of baseball (Estimated, lol). When a Home Run Hitter hits a homerun he doesn't try to run to first, he enjoys every second of the moment cuz he knows everyone is watching him NOT THE BALL!! I don't care where the ball goes, I know its gone. So why do the replays follow the ball and don't focus on the hitter and his Home Run trot. That was a problem with MVP, they showed you the player but i wanna follow him half way to first. So after every Homer in MVP i would have to do a manual Replay. I thought by they would fix this with the Next Gen games. I mean How hard is it to have a camera setting that does exactly what they do in a TV broadcast?? after a homerun FOCUS ON THE PLAYER. Goodness gracious do you have to be a genious to figure that one out. That alone can handicap a game. And i didn't even see one batter do his Homerun Trot in the video clips we where shown..

I would like to know what morons are watching these games through development. Doesn't someone watch the process of development and at certain times say that s@@ks, re-do it? Good gracious. Let the Japanese make the game. Their great with technology.

I'm definitely on the fence with this one- I'm so eagerly anticipating a 360 baseball game that I'm forgoing all values and objectivity in favor of excitement and blindness.
Baseball is an "organic" sport, with dirt, weather, different shades of light, and textures... this game looks "too perfect" if that makes any sense. Everything appears angular and shiny, while real life everything has that washed out and dirty kind of organic look. I believe "The Show" and the "MVP" series' get these facets of baseball correct. Not to mention that in MLB06 the players swing like they're on ice and trying not to shift their weight too much for fear of falling down... and they throw with all wrist.... and there are still far too many tendencies left over from the Xbox version in here.
Granted, I haven't played the game yet... and I'm still undecided as to if I'll get it or not, but I certainly am not "wowed". Even the screenshots seem to be a bit lackluster, like those final finishing touches aren't present, or that there is a general lack of detail and pride put into the game.
I'm not saying this game looks bad or that it's won't play well, but it just doesn't look and "feel" (haven't played, so feel may be wrong choice of words) like baseball. That cannot be said for "The Show" and "MVP", because they do seem to get baseball right, weather it be the look of it or just the overall feel of it.
I don't know if I make any sense, but if you all agree or disagree I'd like to hear about it...

Yeah I don't get that one, I don't like the sound of the bat. But it might be a fun game, I am just to picky and expect to much!

That's my "problem" as well.

And I use "problem" very loosely with this title, b/c it seems as if all expectations for this title have dropped severely. That's exactly what 2k was counting on when purchasing the license exclusively. They've hurt EA's baseball title, but have also really hurt themselves in the process...

Thank 989 (and 2k's hatred of EA) for at least giving us another option.

But that's neither here nor there.
