Played for about 2 1/2 hours straight last night and no problems/freezes.

For those of you that have NOT had freezes:

1. Do you have a hard drive?
2. Do you use a memory card?
3. Do you have online capabilities and have you downloaded the rosters online?

I have a hard drive and use that for saves. I do not have a memory card and I do not use Xbox live or the new rosters (I just fix my own.)

My crashes have come with and without a vip setup. Ive tried with the hd formatted and with the hard drive ejected. My 360 is connected to xbox live but it hasnt prompted me to download an update/roster and I havent gone looking for one. So its clean from the disc.

Havent been able to finish a game yet.

Yes to all 3, 2 exhibition games, 10 games in GM mode, no freezes. Plenty of in-between innings/home run stuff.

I even left it running paused for a couple of hours, no problems.

Mine has frozen twice in about 10 games and both were during swings in which I struck out to end an inning. Hopefully it is a random thing instead of a pattern.

Interesting.....mine has frozen like 12 times in a row now however the very 1st game I played was fine. It was after I shut the console down after the 1st game then later turned it back on and tried to play again when I started to have the freezes. Many are at the end of an inning, once when I struck out to end the inning, froze with that batter still in his swing animation.
Deelron, have you shut the console down and then played later without a problem? If so it would appear that the people having the problems may have downloaded a file or have a certain game save that the people without the problem have not. I have read several posts that people initially did not have a problem until they shut the console off then later turned it back on to play.

Tech Support said the issue was freezing between innings, so that sounds about right.

I played 2 exhitibition games last night without a hitch.

I fired it up this morning and it froze on the last out to 1B in the 2nd inning.

I immediately shut down the console and fired it back up immediately.

I played another exhibition game, full 9 innings.

Weird.

College 2k6 freezes on me every so often. I can live with it, if it's ocassionally.

Well the crashes has begun. I played 3 games last night when I started the system, and since I turned it off I have yet to finish 1 game.

I have a HD, and my VIP doesnt match my gamertag.

The problem has to do with the loading of something that wasnt there when you start the game for the first time.

This is laughable the game won't even get thru the CPU vs. CPU demo without freezing now.

Atleast it gives me time to fix the rosters while we wait for a patch.

well im definitely 100% thinking that it has to do with turning your game off and then trying to play later. i played through about 9 games without a freeze. then i turned it off and took a break. ever since i turned it back on, i have not been past the 5th inning. ive talked to many people and most of them that say they havent froze have only played in their first sitting. im thinking that when the people without freezing turn it off and back on, they will freeze too.

Something must get loaded that causes freezes. On restart
