Im with you...With a few slidr adjustments this game plays a good realistic baseball game. Im currently 11-5 with the yankees in my franchise and do get realistic results in my game. THere are a few issues with the game but they are something i can overlook and just enjoy a good baseball game =)

Does anybody ever have the problem of throwing a wild pitch, with a runner on third, and the pitcher will not cover the plate? He just stands on the mound. That really pisses me off.

I don't mean to rant, and I'm not trying to get flamed. I just wanted to exercise my opinion on this matter because I feel like we got taken advantage of.

You probably missed this then. Either way, if people read the ENTIRE post, they'd know that "antogonistic" tone wasn't his intention.

I can see where people might get upset, thinking that I'm telling them what to do. Just because I think 2K6 stinks doesn't mean that someone else won't like it. I just think that if you put those two titles up against one another, it isn't close.

I just thought I could help some folks out there who are on the fence.

As I said before in this thread I have both and right now I'm enjoying 2k6 more. I can't wait to head home and try the updated rosters to see if they're better so I can start my franchise.

Having said that, I have no problem with what you posted. You're entitled to your opinion and have the right to express it. The only thing I can see that would hack people off about the thread is your title and the first paragraph. They come off a little harsh.

Otherwise I agree with you. The Show is a great baseball game and 2k sports/Kush should be flogged for not catching the freeze bug. Hopefully, once the freeze patch is out a few people will atleast rent the game and give it a better chance. It is a really fun game with a few tweaks.

I'm having fun with 2k6 as well.

I thought the 1st couple of lines were crass, but after reading the whole post, it didn't bother me at all. I considered it just another opinion on a message board.

At least there is a choice of a few games out there. Not eveyone has to agree with stated opinions.

I read that too. KDogg made some valid points and backed then up well. I am just suggesting that had his title and opening line been consistant with the rest of the post, it would have been received better.

very well said Roadman. I couldn't agree with you more. I have both and play bothe equally. I like each game for different reasons. Now combine the best parts of each game and we all will be singing cumbyya or some variation of it.

There is no excuse for this title to be sold for $65. Freezing is one thing, but once you maneuver around that inconvenience, you have to deal with bug after bug after bug. I found a fix for the freezing and slidered the sh*t outta this game. It still doesn't matter. I agree with Fossen's review 100%. Hell, I thought he was being generous.

In closing, I want to thank my fellow posters at OS for their opinions on The Show. I now have a sweet baseball game instead of a $65 frisbee.

It's one thing to give people your opinion but don't try and make everyone who likes the game feel dumb for it.

Go play your little PS2 and go post on "The Show" board.
