read somewhere that the control attribs. didn't make any difference with control if using the payoff pitching method, i tried editing a pitcher and sure enough, no difference, supposedly it only makes control worse if you use zone pitching which i've never used before so i have no way of telling as i was all over the place anyways when trying it.Originally posted by GraphikThe way I throw walks is to aim everything on the corners of the strike zone. I've made these changes (it takes about 2 minutes per team) and the game plays much better. I'm using sliders that were adjusted from the PRO difficulty (which also makes a difference).
I almost did it this way as well , but I wanted to have more individuality bewtween the OF's. So I give guys a 0 that have an attribute less than 80 instead of your 90. I did the same for accy.

I like the rating changes as follows:
All OF Arms:
Strength and Control:
If original is below 80 - change to 0
If original is between 80-90 change to 5
If original is above 90 change to 10
I think these would drastically improve gameplay. Anyone disagree with these numbers? If not, Jim416, will you be putting a roster together that can be available for download through XBox 360 Transfer Kit?Comment

I haven't tried anyone elses but DanSF49's looks real promising. I may give his a try. His arm strenght edits are the same as mine but I will also try his accuracy formula.
I'll tell you one thing thouhg, after doing some edits for OFers, it turns it into a completely new game. Much more realsitic in how you score runs for you as well as the cpu. They are listed as letters such as A-,B-,etc.., not numbers. I guess I'd have to start my franchise over if I wanted to do this though. I don't think I can edit CPU players in a franchise.

Yea, on the player edit screen, its converted to a slider bar. If you check out the numbered rating beforehand, it'll make the slider bar easier to count out. I dont even like that fact that they used a slider bar.
