Well, if you watch the video again you'll see that the ball is coming from the catcher and there is no runner going to first. Hence, it is indeed a stolen base (and I guess we both agree that it's Castillo).

I actually can't even see the ball. LOL. That's why I didn't know if the ball was thrown from the catcher or a groundball hit to 1B and the 1B went to turn 2.

Okay, so I don't know if anyone cares or not, but I quickly went outside... camera, gloves, wristbands, bat... whatever... and took a one-handed swing from the left side, and slowed it down for you guys:

At the time I didn't consider the stance stride or the follow-through and exiting out of the box, or going two-handed, or swinging from the right side or whatever. I just did it quickly to come back inside (it's COLD!). But I was just wondering what you thought in terms of what a swing should probably look like in this game. Note that I watch Bonds a lot and study how he goes through the zone, so I'm probably much more compact than anybody else when they look at a swing.

This is by far the strangest post I have ever seen. Videotaping yourself swinging a bat is weird enough, but why did you put on batting gloves, a hat, wrist bands and sunglasses?

lmao... stating the obvious (or pointing out something in a picture) comedy is the best comedy. Thats why I love Progressive Boink.

Heh, well the hat and Oakleys were already on my head. When I picked up my bat, my gloves and bands happened to be on top of them.

Oh well... point was made, right?

I like the at bat graphics a lot... but I'm still not impressed with the baserunning movement and graphics. It still looks old-gen. That catch by Crisp also didn't look too nice either. The physics have to be better than that. Randy Winn looked nice at the plate graphically, and the swinging has great animation. I also like the touch of stepping out of the box all mixing in with the wait time between pitches. Really feels like real ball game.

I love the TV feel of the presentation. Lots of information going on, and the little replays in between are a nice touch. I think in another video they show highlights of players throughout the game up to that at-bat, so the presentation is looking very nice this year. Again tho, the grounder to short looked fine, but the player running to first looked a bit awkward, and the way the 1st basemen catches the ball is just not right. I don't think it has anything to do with Giambi being a bad first basemen either . Seems very windy in Florida.

The crowd looks tremendous, and the lighting is perfect. It looks like a real sunny afternoon day in Atlanta. These type of videos are getting me really excited. Go TEXAS!!!

This seems to be the blooper reel, but the graphics look incredible. I also noticed that the ball physics on the way in from the outfield have been fixed and don't have that Bouncy Ball effect where the ball magically speeds up after hitting the ground.

Thats exactly what I thought when I saw that at first, and to think all this over 1 gameplay video of a game that wont be out for 3 months. Silly kids.

less than 2 months man. the rest of the story is that he doesn't even own a 360, that makes it even more strange he would waste his time on this. To each his own, I guess.

Now I can see it! Based on that screenshot above, the swing animation do suck. Player models look good but, I don't get the t-shirt and shorts. Is this some new expansion team. Also, the stadium in the background sucks but, maybe it is still under construction.
