    Welcome to Blzer's World! lol

Have you ever programmed anything. I am sure it is not easy to get a video guy to do real looking things.

Considering the company Interplay (yeah, do you know who they are?) made a baseball game in 1999 that had real life physics, collision detection, the right strike zone, and the works... I'm sure that it's possible. My conjectures aren't just based off of what I think can be done, but based off of what has been done.

Still the best game that I think has played the purest baseball game where I could still enjoy it was Interplay Sports Baseball 2000 for PlayStation. You have 2 quarters lying around somewhere? Take them and go buy it.

You always amaze me. Quit playing real baseball and go get hire by Kush. You probably will go a lot further with Kush

You guys amaze me. I couldn't get anything through your heads if I had a screw gun. I don't see how you guys don't understand how some issues create others. The high strike zone aids in the ugliness factor of those upright swings and the catchers nearly standing when setting up for a high strike, and the bounce of the ball off of the grass aids in your guys' theory of "rocket arms".

Besides, that name doesn't even make sense. Shouldn't the ball be the rocket?

I think you are the hard headed one. NO ONE CARES. Your infatuation with 2k baseball is pretty scary, and annoying.

Blzer, you scold people and dish out stuff pretty good. Now you want the thread locked because people just aren't responding the way you want?

You profess to be smarter than all of us. I think that's where you are really rubbing people the wrong way. Lighten-up.

I never have and never will say that I'm smarter than anybody on here. That would be you putting words in my mouth. I'm saying that I am aware of the issues, and can show them by factual proof. The fact that you guys still can't see the issues after I point them out does not make me any smarter than you, but it just shows that I am... well... that I am aware of the issue. A ball bouncing 3 feet and a ball bouncing 30 feet is something that is not minor, and it didn't have to do with "rocket arms". A strike zone that is up at the shoulder/letter area is not a strike, but you guys blame ugly swing animations and ugly catcher poses for other reasons.

I want the thread locked because I want to reorganize my thoughts on this defensive control scheme so it's not all in one post, and there are visual diagrams as well as the addition of the control scheme with the ball. A few things are finetuned (not too many changes for controls without the ball), but I want to make sure that when I make my next thread, it is not so cluttered and messy... and it makes sense.

                        You're condescending too.

That's well...very coy. You seem to have this you guys against Blzer mentality. Just lighten up. That should work.

They don't have to lock the thread. You just don't need to respond anymore.

Hell, I don't care if you're against me. I'm concerned when the facts of life are fuzzy to some people, though (FACT: Superballs on cement is not equivalent to baseballs on grass). When I support the facts of Earth's forces of gravity and you are against them, then I have to show some worry. That's my "intensity" that you see.

Likewise, there are baseball regulations that are factually visible, but when it's not portrayed correctly in the game and it seems like I'm not allowed to point it out, I get bashed for my opinion (which it's not my opinion... it's a visual fact... bash a fact for you not liking it, not for you not agreeing with it).
