Guys, watch the video again, and quit calling the main problem "rocket arms". Watch the throw, and its natural arch (and tail as a matter of fact) along with its speed. The velocity of the throw and the "rocketness" is gone. The bigger problem has always been the friction of the grass (and maybe dirt).

I'll take this as an old version. I know that Brinkman knows of this problem and he would do whatever he can to tweak this, even if it takes every day that he plays this to continue tweaking it. He really wanted the defensive side of the ball to look as close as possible to real life, and I know that "rocket arms" are gone. Hopefully the friction of the grass is another set of tweaking he has worked on as well.

How can u say that this is old?? When this is brand new video. I mean Blzer i would love for this game to get better but im not going to act like i dont see something that can be fixed.. And to be honest i didnt like the way it looked and the ball got to the plate extremly fast. The guy himself even said this game is coming out very soon. Which means this is a new video..

I can say that this is 2 months old if I want. I don't mean the video, I mean the version of the game. What I mean is that they didn't just put this together two days ago to put on the floor yesterday.

I mean we may see a demo eventually... that should be more of what you'll expect from the game.

By the way, the gif may take longer than expected. I don't want this thing to take up too many MB's so I have to resize it, which to take a specific portion of the video I want (and since the background moves), I need to be precise.

If u look real good u will notice the ball took one bounce straight to the catcher and also the throw was perfectly accurate..

That's just semantics Blzer. "Rocket Arm", "Non friction Grass", "Space Shuttle Shooter"...whatever. The ball arrives way too fast at home. There aren't that many players making that type of throw. Considering it was one of the top 1-2 complaints from last year's version, it better be fixed this year. Playing station to station baseball last year became very dull.

Considering it was one of the top 1-2 complaints from last year's version, it better be fixed this year. Playing station to station baseball last year became very dull.

Well, see, here's what I mean... if you played the game last year, do you remember ever hitting a rising liner in the gap that maybe went 300 feet? Did you ever notice that the second bounce was around 375 feet? No joke. That ball should have really hit around 310 feet, if not less (especially on grass). These were problems in the game that didn't just affect throws, but it affected our extra base hits (and sometimes lack thereof).

The problem (at least now) is the friction. The throws look good (which I'm creating a gif for).

Umm... a lot of people? How is it impossible to make that throw?

If you've ever played outfield past JV Baseball, you would know (especially throwing down the line) that that throw is 7/10, at least.

If that were a real throw, it would probably take three or four bounces (if not begin rolling) and slow down more and more after each hop. But to say that throw "rocketed" is a mistake.

That gif makes it look fine, nothing that says "rocket arm". Any decent outfielder can make that throw, we'll see about the bounces though.

The throwing animations look better then last year but the ball looks like it catches more speed when it hits the ground.

I'm excited. I'm sold on the game already and I haven't bought a 2k baseball game in years. You can tell that a lot of work has went into the title. From the videos, it appears night and day better than last year. It may play like junk, but I am going to pay 60 bucks to find out on March 5. I am craving next gen baseball bad. I just hope that you can turn off the "clutch" or whatever it's called. Also, couldn't you fix the throwing with sliders?

The throwing animation looks real-good, the trajectory of the ball is bad... That ball shouldn't get to the plate that fast.. I'm sorry. For me that's still bad & will make gameplay unrealistic IMO
