I feel ya. Aint nothin worse than a fat dude lookin skinny, guys throwin with the wrong hands and crap like that. It still bothers me how you can be paying folks to be detail oriented and they still messin it up. How come everyone on here can find photos, videos of a guys batting stance and personal info and these c-suckers who get paid for that continue to get basic ish wrong. I hope this is the beginning of takin the details that have been seen for so many years as unimportant seriously. I want to see manny's dreads out the back of his hat. and when he flies out show him takin off his batting helmet and have him wearin his stockin cap underneath. We are in the year 2007 and this crap can be done. I could handle all the details not being there if we were continually gettin a good game with some hot gameplay but that aint even up where it needs to be.

Count me in as a perfectionist that has to make due also

Last season I had to find a more correct batting stance for like 6 of my 8 starters

I wish they would invest their time on getting the signature batting and pitching stances down for all players instead of waisting time on making sure Dontrelle Willis's hat is crooked for added realism

LOL man I feel the same way. I had a modded version of MVP 05 on the Xbox and I could mess with all the unis, faces, and stadiums, but This game has details I couldnt even touch. Individual cap styles, gloves, pants, wristbands. Not to mention the body types look really close to the real thing. I just hope we can edit the players' gear. Also about Manny's dreads, thats the first thing I noticed when I saw the vids.

Yeah, but then if he cut's them. Everybody would complain why does he have dreads! The truth is you can't win.

I noticed on a homerun hit at boston to right field that hit bullpen area and bounced in crowed. It looks like the person sitting there had tried to stand up and snatch the ball.?? can anyone confirm this? As this is just another cool added detail in the game.
                  thanks

Of course every gamer wants perfection , but nothing is as simple as it seems. Im sure it takes hours, days, weeks, just to implement things you and I would consider simple. Programming a game is a bit more complicated than copy and pasting a pick from MLB.com.

Obvioucly though it looks like 2k is getting this game in order.

Correct, and on top of that you have to take into account each individual gamers talent with the game. Some say HOF is too easy and some can't get out of ROOKIE mode. There are so many variables in a game aside from programming, etc.

That is why sliders are very important in a game (especially ones that work) so that certain aspects of the game can be tweaked because difficulty levels alone are not enough.

Well we all agree the visuals are a huge step up over last years debacle, and starting to get info on improved gameplay.
Anybody heard about any improvements on the audio side of the game.
I wasnt really impressed with last years audio.
In the show last year you could play countless games and still hear new things that brought a sense of realism to the games.
Im really hoping that 2K really expanded on this to add more depth to which already is shaping up to be agood looking baseball game.
